First of all, thanks for watching and commenting on the video. Starting at 8:34, I show having to remove the plastic piece on top of the cylinder, using some plastic ties to hold the cylinder just right, and using a ratchet box end wrench to get the back brake line installed to get it in. It definitely was a challenge and I commend you for attempting this. I was definitely not the easiest job I have done. Good luck....😀
I changed the master brake cylinder on my ‘95 GL1500SE - fun time getting that rear line connected, for sure. The forklift wld have been nicer than laying on the floor! Will wait until you lube up your rear splines & check the U-joint before attempting mine.🧐 Good videos!
I’m working on this right now. Since I have to do way more (carburetor, gastank, rearbrake, driveshaft, timingbelt, valves, frontbrakes, and so on, yes the bike didn’t run for more then 8 years now, I disassembled most of the bike now. But thanks for some insights.
I watched this video to see how you reinstall the master cylinder, I saw everything but that. I have spent several hours trying to finish this job.
