If you have solar it makes sense to maximise its efficiency and tilting makes a big difference. Good job.

Great work on the tilt Cam, 33:26 showing some serious bend when raising them. May I suggest reinforcing the top bar so wind doesnt decide to give you a bad day. in the winter...

It’s actually pretty rigid and if we had serious winds I wouldn’t have it up. I just watched it back and I think it’s because of the delay with the middle (new) linear actuator, I’ll have to have a look at it but I think that’s why it’s bending. Thanks for pointing it out to me 👍🏼

Great video cam, fair play what an array! I would say the middle is slower because it probably carries more weight than the others. as it's carrying the front of the back panel too.

Thanks mate, you still tempted to do the same? Hmmm you might be on to something, I’ll investigate 👍🏼

@@livinginkevlar Hmm, think I'm going to try some kind of quick release way...

Maybe I didn't catch it from the video, but starting from a bigger angle would help the motors work less and do more work. At least that's what I would aim for.

That’s what I did in the end, just forgot to add the feet. 👍🏼

The ever optimist Cam 😂😂 Now that you have been for an outing (or two), do those loose cables in the roof flap about as you drive or are they pretty steady? Asking for a friend 😇

Haha that’s me! Cables have been fine , I still need to tidy them up but no problems at all mate. 👍🏼

hi great way to maximise the power you get in, do you have a link to the actuators and remote you used?

I’ve just added the eBay links for actuators and controller I used. Follow me on Instagram and let me know how you get on, always happy to help 👍🏼
