I'd say void shield itself is fine, but you are usually going against backliners as the solo laner, and they won't have many prots to reduce. If you are in a 4 phys comp and their support builds thebes and sov, I'd say having a void shield is kinda good

It angers me how people say the Surtr change is a buff when it's actually a significant nerf If you got 80 stacks before that's 400 damage, 80 Stacks now is 240 stacks and damage, 400/240. That's 160 less damage, a 400% decrease 400 Damage (80stacks) vs 240 Damage (80*3=240 stacks). 160 damage per swing loss = 40% There only way you hit Surtr 1 on gods 53 times to make up for the damage loss. That's being extremely generous and saying you only got 80 stacks in the entire game before.
Depending. If you start Axe and Bluestone then its a no. If you build Tainted or Sigil then yes it might be vialable if you prefer it over lets say stone of gaia. It takes time to staklck it to get full potential.
Odins base damage is so high you don't need the extra damage from soul eater so you can just go tank from the start which is much safer. Runeforged would be the only damage heavy item I would go on him
