...and countless retries. Sure there's plenty of talent (literally!) but these videos that make it look like magic sometimes take ridiculous numbers of tries to get the one take that looks impressive but really anybody could do with enough attempts. He just takes less.

Whats truly impressive here is his ability to make the billiard ball go in the direction he wants while it is moving. It's one thing to know exactly where to hit a stationary billiard ball but another thing to hit a moving billiard ball in exactly the spot required.
