Good for you for deciding it is not worth it to live apart just for more money. Life is too short to live like that where everything is focused on the future. With all its challenges, you seem to be on a very interesting and wisdom gaining journey. So many live numb, risk free lives, clinging to a false sense of security. No matter what the conditions of any person's life, things can always change for better or worse and it's best to live life now and be as flexible as possible.

Hearing your journey helps me a lot to stay calm while facing an unexepected period of unemployment (and therefore financial struggle) and even if I am a really anxious person, I managed, so far, to keep a bit of sanity over the whole adventure and not freaking out (too much). Dear Ana, thank you for sharing how you make it in a life that would seem impossible to others, and you even have comfortable homes! I too find routines to be a great backbone of everyday life. My home routine might differ from my traveling routine , but establish it rather quickly, otherwise my thinking becomes foggy and I'd just sit around confused.

Hi Ana, I enjoyed your revealing and honest assessment of your fascinating nomadic life. As a fellow HSP I understand how the stresses such a life style must have on you. For me, I suffer actual physical ailments and illness when I'm facing uncertainty. A bus trip I took across the U.S put me in the hospital for 5 days! And financial hardships I had 20 years ago caused a prolonged depression that required treatment. I admire the enormous strength of character you and Brian must have to navigate through all this mess. I agree that life must be taken seriously and not treated as a vacation. We are put here to try to make things better. Life is not a holiday. We have work to do don't we?

Similar to you, one way I think is "hope for the best but plan for the worst" - make sure I can handle the worst outcome, but remain optimistic that good things will happen.

Being apart sucks! I don’t think I could be a nomad forever, but if the journey includes getting to a place to call home, that could be a great adventure (at least in retrospect;) and a great shared experience. Best of luck, and thank you for bringing us along!

This red pull over really suits you and your carnation ! You really have a good taste in arranging things together. You manage very well in this life of uncerrainty ! I was without a home a few times in my life what helped me most I think was some personnal objects that I always had with me and made me feel a home anywhere. You are well organised and have a very good mindset for facing uncertainty it will help you when you'll have more stability. I like the fact that you try to make each place, each day, each meal... Normal living facing the responsabilities you have no matter what. This new flat looks really nice, I love the vintage lamp behind you.

Even when i travel out of the US, which is infrequent i don't really like sightseeing. I much prefer visitin a hardware store in the Italian countryside, than going to Venice.
But you are "accidental travellers," as it were, and probably have to create routines that make stability as you move around. So "nomad" is the perfect word for what you are doing.
Your wisdom and insights from your struggles and deepening understanding of yourself/life are remarkable for a young woman (as an older one :). Wishing you continued good luck and thanks for sharing with us.

As always, awesome video. I would love to see more videos on money management, budgeting and how you guys manage that. Do you save in cash or in a bank account. How do you invest for the future?
in UK, you have to pay deposit with rental, often two months' rent, and then terrible problems trying to get it back from the landlord, i see how airbnb would work better. Next, your name has to go on the gas company bill, electricity etc, and the landlord can fix it that you end up being legally liable for the previous use or not take your name off when you leave, so you are liable for huge bills, etc etc

Have you considered staying in BiH at all? Or Albania? Or Turkey? Those are also poor economies and rentals in off season are less.
Beautiful lesson on living, one that reassures me while I go through my own uncertain time. It seems to me that when you aren't weighed down by a surplus of possessions, life has the opportunity to flow more freely and allows us to adapt more readily. I am glad to hear you and Brian are doing well in your new location. One question though, how come you cannot come to America with Brian? As far as I know, the law allows spouses citizenship no matter where they are from, or at least a visa if you don't wish to give up your Russian status.
Obtaining visa takes time and money. Immigration to the US is not an easy one and has nuances most people are unaware of

Is there a specific reason you and your husband are not moving to the US together? As a married couple this should not mean that you have to separate? Or did I miss something?
I need a special visa, and working on it takes time and money. Immigration process is not an easy thing these days.
I am GLAD you comeback to Serbia. This is just sugestion. Keep that haircut and that style of dress, you look mucth more feminine and cute with it, you are gorgeous in that shirt and with that haircut.
