First Laps in The Trestle Bike Park 2021

- Opening day is tomorrow, June 19th 2021. Come on out and make your arms tired;) The trail crew has been breaking their backs for weeks for your riding pleasure. Join Shawn Neer and I as we "test" out some of the classic DH tracks and burn in some lines for the season. Rainmaker, Trestle Downhill, No Quarter, and a few parts of Banana Peel were riding well. Shawn jumped on a plane right after we filmed this to head to Italy for the first EWS round of the season. Wish him luck! Nice of Shawn to risk life and limb for my camera right before heading off to the races.
Nothing beats laps with the lads. Chairlift season is finally here! Cheers to Winter Park for hosting us.

Planning to be there tomorrow. Though not sure how many trails will be open, Trestle said Olympia lift will be closed along with the trails that connect to it (Spicy Chicken, Paper Boy, Happy/Happier Camper, Dirty Dozen, 36th Chamber, etc).
I'm going next Thursday, definitely not trying to be stuck in opening weekend lines lol

At about 3.30, that transition on the rock to make the left turn was dope. Would have never saw that line at speed myself. I would have just barreled through those baby heads and got slammed around.
That is the smooth line for sure.

Rainmaker is the Dirt Merchant of Winter Park. The only trail in the park, lol

This looks really fun but in my thirties I don't think it would be a good idea to start learning how to hit big jumps like that but I just might go for it when I make it out there.

There's a ton of progression trails, the first trails he hit were practically the hardest in the park

Are there any good technical trails that will help we work my way up to riding something like the trestle downhill? Last time i went to trestle it seems that all the blue trails were just flow so I still have no idea how to ride something that's rocky.
