Nate Hills facing forward is great but you are smart to mix it up. Me personally I enjoy seeing the multiple camera angles on the same feature to get a better idea how hard that feature was to ride.
Nate Hills I like how you mixed it up. Cool seeing all the moves they were making from the front. I really liked this video. Rear view really gave me a perspective on how smooth your riding is.
Love the chainless run! I rode Trestle chainless for about a week and got all kinds of better at maintaining speed thru & out of corners. Love your videos! Have a great weekend dude! 🤘
I like the idea of both facing forwards and backwards cameras. I use it too but not too often as I find the gimbal can't do tight berms to well. Great video as always 👍
Nate, nicely done. Definitely like the forward and reverse shots. Would be nice to have the boys shoot some video of you, and mix that in there as well.
Wanna see "Nate Hills off the saddle" .You know you interviewing the people you ride with. Showing where you like to eat, good places to get a cup of coffee, what you like about the town your riding in. Second channel perhaps?
No pawl noise, no chain slap, must have been nice and quiet for Dillon. Still haven't done Winter Park in the summer. I know, what's wrong with me? (trick ?) Happy Trails
I like it when the video has both forward and reverse angles. I don't always want to see one over the other, but prefer the rear view better as it shows everything the rider is tackling, versus when you are following them the rider in front blocks all that from being seen. That being said, when you follow Kyle Mears....following him is so cool to watch, and see how he preloads so many obstacles. You wouldn't be able to get the aspect if he was behind you. Always great watching your videos. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into making them. I think one of the cool things about your videos is (to me) they come from a "racer's" point of view. One final question, how do/did you mount the gimbal for the rear shots? Inquiring gimbal owner wants to know?!!? -jt-
jfkusa123 brakes are extra weight and they are one more thing to go wrong on a ride. who needs suspension either. just use your arms and legs. handlebars are pointless too. u can just grab the frame instead. you know what who even needs a frame. or wheels
Dylan beat my times REAL BAD at the trestle gravity series last year, would love to see a lap with the camera on him riding Upper Trestle DH to space ape, that would be a burly follow cam.
hi guys. Love your channel and great vid. I am hitting Trestle next month, and just wondered how rainmaker compared in difficulty to A Line? I have ridden A Line and found it challenging but awesome at the same time. Just wondered if you are good enough to ride A Line you can also ride this? I love flow, but always hard to tell from a video how challenging a course actually is?
Sooo i have 2500 what bike should i buy, i kind of like doing it all, climbing downhill. I want a bike i can upgrade and probably keep for a few years.
Giant Trance 3 (maybe 2 if you get a deal) or a Stumpjumper are good bikes for that price range in my opinion. I like the Scott Genius LT too, you might find a deal on one. Unless you're looking for a great deal on a used high end bike, those would be a good place to start.
Haha I rode a lot of chainless dh lately cuz I blew up my derraulier and lost the hangar. it's actually not that bad without a chain cuz it's more pumping and carrying speed than pedalling

What do you guys like better? Normal forward facing shots, or #reversecowgirl??? All the angles.
Nate Hills facing forward is great but you are smart to mix it up. Me personally I enjoy seeing the multiple camera angles on the same feature to get a better idea how hard that feature was to ride.
Multi angles is nice to spice up the edit, but at the right dosage.
All the angles. Great stuff Nate. Loving the variety but love the original too.
Variety is the spice of life...mix it up!
Nate Hills I like how you mixed it up. Cool seeing all the moves they were making from the front. I really liked this video. Rear view really gave me a perspective on how smooth your riding is.
Love the rear view. So much style all round. Great Runs..
Rainmaker is one of my favorite trails! Flow for days!
Wait, this guy has a bike for around 8000 Bucks but isnt able to afford a chain?! ;)
Love the chainless run! I rode Trestle chainless for about a week and got all kinds of better at maintaining speed thru & out of corners. Love your videos! Have a great weekend dude! 🤘
When I used to coach kids, I would make them do chainless laps all the time. So good for speed and commitment.
I like the idea of both facing forwards and backwards cameras. I use it too but not too often as I find the gimbal can't do tight berms to well. Great video as always 👍
TrailRider that is what makes me angry about using a gimbal are the flowy berms. maybe my feiyu tech just sucks
Nate, nicely done. Definitely like the forward and reverse shots. Would be nice to have the boys shoot some video of you, and mix that in there as well.
I do have some footage of me riding from the day.... Stay tuned.
Thanks for the cameo at the end of the video... great meeting you.. EPIC day...
Nice to meet you as well Adam.
Dude, that was freaking awesome. That trail was just one big jump fest. A lot different than when I was there 16 years ago, ha!
Love this back view with the stabilisation it's sooo savage and sick ! 🤘🤘
Cool Nate!!! You play the xylophone at the beginning 😀
Fantastic footage bikes are fizzing nicely 👍
That's my night job, lol.
Knew it 😁
That's a great run! I miss that "old" upper rainmaker. The hits were smaller, but it took more skill and precision.
Yes, poorly built jump trails do require more precision.... haha. Shit was jank. Still is.
Was there about two weeks ago and of course they didn't have the upper rain maker open. Still a great ride and awesome vid, makes me wanna go back
Wanna see "Nate Hills off the saddle" .You know you interviewing the people you ride with. Showing where you like to eat, good places to get a cup of coffee, what you like about the town your riding in. Second channel perhaps?
Definitely trying to incorporate more of this into my videos. Check out my IG stories!
Holly bike jumpers bro that was some awesome shredding💪👍👊
No pawl noise, no chain slap, must have been nice and quiet for Dillon. Still haven't done Winter Park in the summer. I know, what's wrong with me? (trick ?)
Happy Trails
Just tires and dirt, music to my ears.

What's next... Brakeless run down schleyer?
Haha, certain death.

@@natehills9388 🤣🤣
Dude that jump at 5:43 almost killed me as well
Way too small, like most of the jumps on this trail, haha.
Dat backwards camera is dope ! Your friends have skills !
that's amazing thanks guys! Nate awesome to watch!
Cheers Terry
have fun buddy. getting my yeti ready. CT is waiting...
Anyone who ducks on a DH jump line for aero has ridden that trail a few times... fckn send it! 🤙🏼
Nice! i was just in boulder and estes park all last week! ill be hitting this up next trip out for sure
Dust reminds me of Northstar California for real. If you've ever ridden there, you know what I mean.
Similar for sure. I think N* is worse.
nice change in angle, awesome Nate!
Awesome video!
Dylan beat my times REAL BAD at the trestle gravity series last year, would love to see a lap with the camera on him riding Upper Trestle DH to space ape, that would be a burly follow cam.
Yep, he is really pinned all over the place at Winter Park
Kudos to the chainless dude👍💪👊
Great vid, man. Like the multiple angles.
Sick sick video Nate! Wow pure adrenaline 🤘
Nice!
All the angles.
Love the backwards angle
Me too, more to come soon.
Ha ha, last time I was in the ticket line at WP, I asked the clerk if I could get a senior discount on a Pro-line pass. She didn't know what to think.
Haha!
Good footage so stable Nate, by the end of the year the Christmas gift could be a 360º video, mega train !!! :D
Awesome, keep SICK!
Need more gimbals, haha.
At 7:50 things go Jedi.....Sick!!!!
Nate, which Gimbal do you have and I presume you use it with the GoPro Chesty?
There are links in the video description and all over my channel if you are interested in my camera set up. Thanks for watching!
Best video ever
Spectecular team my man
Those same exact people were helping me today
Did that trail on Sunday! It's the best ✊🏼
the reverse angle really give you a good idea of just how fucking fast you guys are going
Hmm. Mountain biking w/o a chain. Reminds me of back country skiing with snow boarders. All good till you have a climb to deal with.
I only ride park. ;)
Good one. After a few more successful videos I hope you will be able to say " I only climb using a helicopter." That would really put me in my place.
7:13 style for miles!!! #1
Yeah Nate Dawg! GET IT!
🤘🏻🤘🏻
Fucking wild man. That was awesome!! And I like both POVs lol
Cheers William.
Love the multiple camera angles ! Nate, just curious, when & why did you make the switch in grips (GE1 to GD1) ?
I switched about a month ago. I just like the way they feel, A bit slimmer than the old ones.
Curious of if this was before or after his injury. Regardless he shreds the trail like Leslie Knope shreds paperwork
I love Rainmaker! Do you clip in or ride flats at bike parks?
Clips.
yes boi
All the euro tables🤘🏻
Tabes for the babes.
Great vids, how do u get the GoPro so close to ur handlenbars
That is just where it sits....
yea but do u use 1440 p or what?
it is beautiful! thx man!very! you need this world!!:)
Rainmaker is 💸💸💸
Can you do a split screen of the follow cam and the following follow cam please?
I like this idea.....
yessssss! the extended following cam was mesmorizing though. I dug it
Thinking about this a little more - best when there has been a 'woah' moment, something really steep/technical or if someone has nearly stacked it?
hi guys. Love your channel and great vid.

Just wondered if you are good enough to ride A Line you can also ride this? I love flow, but always hard to tell from a video how challenging a course actually is?
hjelliott1 rainmakers jumps are smaller. If you can ride A-line you can ride rainmaker. Rainmaker has some rollers that are just drops.
how is the cassette moving without a chain?? Am i missing something here? Where is the free hub noise coming from haha
The noise is coming from my bike.....
hey nate ,i think you'r just on the limit when you just need a downhill bike ,but i guess you know your limits ha
This one is much faster on the trail bike.
5.5 with a fox 49!!! what you think man? If Jared and Cody can rip a sb6 with a fox 40 surely you can rip a 5.5 with a fox 49!
nice edit,i like it
Intense Tracer, nice 👌
Front is awesome
Sooo i have 2500 what bike should i buy, i kind of like doing it all, climbing downhill. I want a bike i can upgrade and probably keep for a few years.
Thanks for halp.

Justin Meehleis ✊🏽✊🏽 thanks bro
FOLLOW CAM FRIDAY RULES!!!
Cheers Bro!
Nate do you just film or do the editing also? Both skills are fantastic whoever edits.
I am a one man show. Travel, film, edit, race bikes, train, drink beer, eat food, all in a days work, haha! Sometimes I sleep.....
That's pretty impressive that you can get that all together every week. I mainly edit and it can be a tedious process. Always look forward to Fridays.
the reverse footage is great ....how is it mounted? gimbal?
Yup, same as normal, just upside down and backwards.
EXCELLENT...
Awesome, always cool video, thanks! :) What is the average speed?
I'm in this
what happened to his chain?
Dillon broke his drivetrain....
I bet the bears would love to chase you chainless guys?
Chains are for newbs clearly!
Was there an oh shit moment when you wanted a pedal stroke?
This one works really well without a chain, unless you make a mistake....
Those industry nine hubs though 🙃
These were Roval wheels with the stock hubs, using DT internals. Interestingly enough..
Haha I rode a lot of chainless dh lately cuz I blew up my derraulier and lost the hangar. it's actually not that bad without a chain cuz it's more pumping and carrying speed than pedalling
Cheaper too.... 😜
What speed did you reach?
Hey Nate what happened??? I couldn't see anything behind your enormous balls... You guys are fucking SAVAGE!!!
Ball obstruction.....
The last 3 hits of the mid section of rain maker were cut out :( Really hoping to see you both send that last table.
That table goes deeeep!!
cool Videos
wow
Watching this makes me want to go huck so badly! Unfortunately, kinked neck couch potato day for me. Can hardly move my head.
Heal and huck friend!
You can slowmotion on jumps
+Nate Hills how about some vids of more natural trails?
Stay tuned friend! Friday is coming at you.
when did you film this?
This week.
*Extremely disappointing, not as fast as Gwin... Thumbs down.*
:P Keep up the sick videos, man!
What about Neko?
Broke my collarbone at 6:45. Landed too far left in the grass. Also, I'm not the best rider... Don't judge.
What gloves do you use?
TLD Air FTW!
vaNew trend: pump trailing without chain

I could watch Kyle ride all day, Ha ha ha. Thanks for watching man I basically run my rig upside down and backwards to get the rearward facing shots.
