  • Midway Carousel at Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH.
Built by Daniel Carl Müller of D. C. Müller & Bro. in 1915, this carousel includes 4 rows of 48 jumping horses, 12 standing horses, 4 chariots, and a Wurlitzer 153 Band Organ. It originally opened at Hurley's Bathhouse in Nantasket Beach, MA in 1915 and moved to an unknown location nearby until it was closed in 1945. The carousel was then relocated to Cedar Point in 1946. The ride moved down the main midway closer to the park's main entrance in a new pavilion in 1994. The Midway Carousel was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and received the National Carousel Association Historic Carousel Award in 2012. NAPHA recognizes Cedar Point for preserving one of only two operating Müller carousels.
