That orange tank is insane
I'm always impressed to see how quickly your company is expanding! Looking real good! Eventually once I setup a nice planted display I'll be getting some shrimp.
It's cool to look back at how far you guys have come in such a short time. Love it.❤
Flip Aquatics...the reason I have shrimp tanks! Keep up the good work man! So excited to see the new building complete!
I'm with you on loving the orange! I have a dozen Orange Rillis and that color just pops!
Thank y’all at Flip Aquatic! The package got to me and made me smile just when I needed one red fish, also Been a fan from day one Matthew CFP Nature Tech
A cure!? I cant wait! What a relief lol... SO jelly of your shop and the tanks.. so awesome!!
Great job breeding! My favorite part of owning shrimp tanks is during the evening and morning they tend to swim like fish.
I love how the shrimp sticks are used up, You are just like the rest of us, not always perfect but loving our tanks.
Your videos are awesome .....
Love your videos bro!! Amazing
Love them yeller ones
Nice work.
dang.. those 125's are sooo crazy haha you a mad man.. love it
You have grown alot and this video is awesome I think it really shows the work You have done, Great job!.
Happy New Years Rob & Amanda!
I recently found a few berried dark red Bloody Mary's. The babies were very blue, but as they got older, some got dark red, while others turned more brown, and a few stayed spotted blue. They will be fun to selectively breed, can't wait to see what comes of a few generations!
do you have a video of you setting one of these tanks up? would love to see it
Cool stuff!
Great video for the new year much love and happiness for you and yours in the new year😎👍🇦🇺
Thank you for my New friends
Happy New Years Rob! Best wishes to you and your family!
fantastic job.
any purple shrimp.
I want to build an Orange and Purple tank Go Clemson !
Awesome video tour!
First time viewing shrimp. Had no clue there were so many varieties.... they r BEAUTIFUL!!! Thanks for adding to what species I already watch.... yaaaaaa 🤪. Hahaha. What else can u include n a shrimp tank?
Awesome! I'm excited for you brother. God has blessed you for sure! Maybe you could do a combo store/ gallery up top with a store on one side and gallery on the other. It looks big enough on video.
Dang. I came to see the snails and you skipped it! Lol
I wish I can just get one scoop of the yellow ones and put it in my tank
Happy New years to you I definitely gotta order some shrimps from you soon but keep me posted in the amazing & beautiful shrimps.
What an AMAZING setup! Such hard work and deep thought you've put into it, and the livestock and plants are all the healthier for it! Wish we had something that came anywhere close to this in Canada, or that you could easily ship to us here.
For some reason when I saw those orange shrimp I smelled gaterade and I wanted it so bad!!
Happy New Year to all at Flip Aquatics, love the tours and you peaked my interest with the dragon blood shrimps, if possible can you let the gneral public know if and when they would b avail for sale?
If you had a water tank/reservoir big enough for all your tanks, you can condition tap water with prime SAFE, wait for 3 days or until all the bubbles evaporated. This is been extra careful with completely neutralizing chlorine for water changes, top offs, and setting up new tanks. To me Losing one shrimp is already losing too many shrimp, unless they're old.
This is has helped me not lose any shrimp and they grow big much faster.
Hopefully this will help you not lose any more shrimp if you want to be extra careful with tap water.
Looking good! When will you be shipping again?
Hey Rob can you do a video on the process of cleaning or changing out a Matten Filter with all those shrimp in the tank. How do you keep them from getting trapped behind the filter if you change it out? Thanks and May God continue to bless you and Flip Aquatics.
xKen, No I have not. Only thing I know to do is try and chase them to one end and quickly place the filter. I still end up trapping or killing a few in the process. Thanks.
xKen, thank you for that information.
Can’t wait to order some from you and do my own small business out here as well you as well as other fishtubers have inspired me
i was just thinking about you the other day! i wasn't sure if you were still doing this or not. so happy to see you are. random, would you test tank water if i brought it out? i tried cherries last year and killed them all over the course of a month.. the tank is 8 years old and i had crystals in it prior, i'm thinking to low of PH maybe? or nothing good left in the tank since its sat with only plants for 3 years.
Love your new setup... after it's all up and running, will folks be able to come and buy from you?? I'd LOVE to get some of that driftwood!!!!
New Year & most stuff sold out. Hurry & restock got birthday 🎁 $ & would like to buy. Thanks for the great videos & reason why I got shrimp 🦐 tank. Great 👍 job.
Rob man I have a question I had three shrimp for a month started with 5 2 died off well I got the rest of my order 2 days ago slowly got them use to the water a 3 hour process but 2 days later I'm down to one shrimp all at once the only one that has made it is the blue dream from the start of keeping shrimp I pulled that shrimp and added him to my recovery tank.
Dude, I never thought I would have shrimp. I just ordered a couple of royal blue ones to go along with my platys. I'm confident that they'll be fine since the platy fish don't mess with the gammarus. And why did I get shrimp? Your videos!!!
I have few questions, I hope I get a reply from you, I am Debjeet from "Royal Aquascaping" I have a small RUclips Channel also 🤭.
Questions:-
1. What type of soil you are using, what is the thickness of soil and what type of filter is that?
2. What you feed them ?
3. How often you change the water ?
4. What is the reason of black background?
Thank you for uploading this video.
So I know I'm not them but I know the answers:
1: They use Brightwell Rio Escuro-F and have about 1/2--1" of soil. The filter is called a matten filter, it is better in most cases than a sponge filter because it has 4 times the amount of surface area of a sponge filter.
2: They feed a variety of foods to the shrimp like: Shrimp King 5 in 1, Bacter AE, Mineral Junkie, Shrimpfit, Shrimp Dinner, Shrimp Baby, several shrimp lolly flavors etc.
3: Do a 10% water change every 3-4 weeks if the tank is shrimp only.
4: The black background makes the colors of the shrimp and even fish pop and makes plants look better.
Happy New Year!! Open a fish and shrimp store!! What is that beautiful plant in the big tank?
Best USA shrimper, good job, happy for you all! What do you use for cutting and drilling matten filters?
we have hard water...is it the caridinas that do ok in hard water....i have a 60 gal. i am wanting to be shrimp
Neocaridina do great in hard water. Although I always recommend you test your water prior to ordering
Shrimp dont need plants? Also, I have cherry shrimp but they arent very red. More like dark orangish(not yellow) color. Do you know why?
Why sell a product you haven’t tested yet yourself ? Very nice setup you have and very interesting, thanks for the showing.
can you tell more detail about the disease at 1:58 sir
I'm impressed, You have done such a great job, I love what You have done!, I only hope the best for You.
Do those big tanks help with the breeding or something!? I am thinking, WOW Those Are BIG Tanks For TINY Shrimp!!
@ 1:46 what word was that? Ive never heard of that.. what is it?
Hello, mate. In your earliest videos you prefer a filter pool sand for the substrate. Now, as I can see - you are using another type of substrate - bigger fraction. What is this substrate? Is there any reason to change a substrate? And if so - what it is? You still using a HMF, I may bet this is the perfect biological filtration.
I’m setting up a Caridina aqua scape and I’m so exited to make my first purchase from the famous flip aquatics.
Don't do it. If you animals are DEAD ON ARRIVAL, then you will be blamed and no refund will be given. Horrible experience. I'll never order from them again, and encourage everyone else to shop at your local aquatic supply store instead.
why do you have no plants inside your shrimp tanks??
For the amount of shrimp we keep, plants rent to get in the way when catching. If they were for breeding, we would definitely have then
Heya Rob!!
Listen, I want to add a wavemaker to my 10 gallon planted shrimp tank (don't laugh) however, I can't seem to find any videos on the best kind for such a small tank, or a shrimp tank in general. I've got smile.amazon up in another tab looking through them but the designs are REALLY spooking me simply for the fact that they all look like shrimplet meat grinders. No bueno. I need more circulation in the tank but am coming up empty on wavemaker/powerheads that would be appropriate not only for my size but for shrimp specifically. I only keep invertebrates but all the videos I'm finding are geared towards fishkeepers. Any suggestions from yourself OR the comment section? Thanks y'all!
A pump with a sponge filter on the intake will work. You'll just need to diy a lift tube for it
What is the substrate you are using, is it garden soil?
I know this is a very late answer lol but it is Brightwell Rio Escuro
Can i keep shrimp in water with a temperature between 78 thru 82.
John Larsen I’d say around 76 is the best temp you can get it
Also what's the best temperature for keeping shrimps in totally new to them.
What are you wanting for the driftwood I’m only a hr away from Youngstown an work there all the time been looking for a couple nice pieces for my tanks
Im setting up a RCS breeding tank 20 gallon high, i just got a sweet sponge filter from aquarium co-op which is a really course sponge. Should i get a finer sponge for it or is it cool to use course? I see they love hanging out/eating on the sponge in this video which looks pretty fine so if any can help LMK !!! Thanks
So it's fine to breed Neos on plain substrate?
Where did you buy the ponds
whats your website called and do you ship to ny
www.flipaquatics.com and of course we do
Alright alright
No plants in the shrimp tanks???
Great tour 👍
Can you ship your products to BANGLADESH?
No they only ship throughout the US
11:44 can anyone tell me what Crypts those are ?
What's the best starter shrimp for 10gal tank. I love shrimp and want to get in to the hobby.

Why are they called "oranges" if they are Yellow?
dude were do u import your shrimp from rob

You should use carpet plants it’s never healthy to not have / barely have plants
👍
New cure flush it down the toilet lol
Is or was this his parent shop?? How the heck does the young guy like this start up a business that is so expensive to start up?
Can’t wait to get my order!!! Happy New Years!!
Don't do it. If you animals are DEAD ON ARRIVAL, then you will be blamed and no refund will be given. Horrible experience. I'll never order from them again, and encourage everyone else to shop at your local aquatic supply store instead.

Shrimp store
78.4k but only 586 likes the fuck? Give this man likes people he works hard for this hobby at least help him with some likes
Just a question? What do you do with the ones you cull? Do you sell them cheaper? I’d love to get some shrimp in my tank, but I can’t afford them
Do you guys plan on stocking the 125 Matten filters?? I have bought all the other various sizes but I would love to add it to a 125 like the ones in video
Why arent there any plants or decor in your 125 shrimp tanks? Couldnt you house alot more per tank if you ran plants??? 🤔
Do you guys ship to Toronto Canada? Doesn't specify on your website if it's UsA only eh
Hi, how do u setup filters on your shrimp tanks.🙏🏻
Substrate used on neocaridina shrimp?
How come my dream blue shrimp only had transparent ones :( and no blues at all
curious for the cure to elobiopsidae
Ooh secret cure, can't wait until you can capitalize and people can save their shrimp.
is there a contact that can be contacted for ordering
I definitely need that elopsidae cure
I respect your passion....🙏🙏🙏
may i know what substrate you use for neocaridina? thanks!
They use eco complete and flourite
Is there live today ??
Those oranges are nice.
A long shot, but it's worth asking: Would you be willing to trade 10 shrimp for an original, realistic coloured pencil drawing of a shrimp of your choice? I have an artistic gift but no money D;
Even if you're not willing to, which is your current favorite species and breed of shrimp?
Heck yeah!! I love the royal blue orange eyed Roger shrimp :)
@@LupDiesel I think you're going to love this drawing. Perhaps even enough for blue dreams... ;)
I'm finished! What address can I mail it to?
