I love the mustangs, but am I the only one that believes there’s a difference between an exhaust that sounds irritably loud and an exhaust that sounds good?
Better way to state it is there’s a difference between loud with no tone and loud with a tone. Most of these exhausts featured are obnoxiously loud with no tone. There’s nothing good about it
its all subjective. IMO all loud muscle cars sound good to me. The 5.0 specifcally with catless headers and a catback sound the best imo. They are extremley loud but thats what makes them stand out. When you hear one in person it never fails to put a smile on my face it literally sounds like a demon

Maybe. It seems the 2v can change its characteristics a lot just from small changes. I have a 2006 Crown Vic Police Interceptor with the 2v 4.6 and I haven't done anything to it except for a straight pipe/muffler bypass. I get people asking me all the time what tune I have or what else I've done to it. It's got a nice cackle and even makes some good pops and cracks.
The difference in an r and "just a 350" comes down to coolers, wheel and tire, back seat delete. 19's and 20's had everything but the wider stance and seat delete. Excellent cars. I have a 19. Absolutely amazing.
it would’ve been nice to hear it all with the same company exhaust. ex a full corsa setup straight back. each car had such a diff setup it’s hard to compare a year to another year if someone cheaped out on their exhaust when someone else spent good money
I have a 2010 and the sound and quality (200,000 miles) is great for me. Only had to change the water pump a year ago. Every single thing on the motor is oritional except the water pump. My 2015 has massive exhaust and American thunder cat back and it definitely makes the coyote sound much better.
