I enjoyed the film having been around long enough to have seen Raiders in the theater. I smiled all the way through it and wasn't asking for anything more than that 42 years later. However, the character of Helena Shaw is one of the most unlikeable characters I've ever seen in a movie. Not a great sign when the vilest character in a film isn't the NAZI villain.
Yeah modern music, a black woman that has nothing to do with anything, and an annoying ugly brit was this movies downfall. It really wasn't bad but those 3 things is what turned ppl off
I saw it yesterday and can't wait to see it again..I'm also hoping for a spin off series just like star wars Come on Harrison please say yes you don't belong in a museum yet!!!
This film is another box office bomb, you cant spent 300M to produce something like this, it is boring, and Kennedy should have be fired already, this woman just destroyed 2 classic franchise for the last 5 years, incredible.
@@lesigh1749 Well I for one and many others I personally know loved the movie. An I couldn't give a crap about Disney or whatever. Just watch it, top 3 Indiana Jones movie, instant classic.
CGI is horrible, as always in recent years... mostly not because of the CGI artist but the poor time frames and too many changes at last second, story was good, probably too long, leading actress.... old fashion and boring, not attractive at all and anoying, sad because the movie could have being a 10, still a good movie, but not great.
I like the movie too, but it don`t feels like this is the last movie to me. They could maybe do another pilot for a series, last time with Harrison Ford. In this episode he is looking for his son in Vietnam. Harrison Fords Co Star Brandon Sklenar from 1923 helps him. He could also be an archaeologist. The first lead leads them to Short Round. The actor himself comes from Vietnam. And in the early 1970s there was still the Vietnam war. Both have to find shorty first, who knows a possible sign of life from Indy's son. Something mythical has to be added. The enemy this time is America. Indiana Jones himself may not survive this time. But we have three new leading actors for a television series. Ke Huy Quan , Brandon Sklenar and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. If something similar doesn't happen, I'd also like to say goodbye to Indiana Jones. I also think it's nice that Indiana Jones has so many films now.
For me it's the "I liked it better than crystal skull" crowd. So great hearing THAT'S the bar now lol. Just to be better than the 4th best of the films. Hollywood stopped caring and so too have many fans. Standards really fell
Unfortunately I don't think there's going to be a next time...Unless Harrison Ford comes back being even older and probably in his mid-80's or they recast the character...
Just watched the movie earlier and wow I absolutely love it. My favorite series of all time.

However, the character of Helena Shaw is one of the most unlikeable characters I've ever seen in a movie. Not a great sign when the vilest character in a film isn't the NAZI villain.
Why so many nutters think we care about box office? I quite enjoyed the film and thats all that matters
It's a pity because we saw The Rolling Stones and sympathy for the devil song and the rolling ball in Sicily in several trailers. Cut out....!
I just got home like two hours ago from watching this in the theater!!! Best movie I’ve ever seen!!!
Either witty sarcasm or one of the saddest comments I have ever seen on the internet.
Um, did we watch the same movie?
god damn, you need some education in cinema history. I was almost offended by your comment.
Hahaha. Sad.
Watching this is like learning how intestines work.
It always ends in fecal matter.
Well, f@#k the critics!!..Indiana Jones, Harrison Ford, are you kidding me?? How on earth can one miss??
Great movie...Loved it in cinema's
Great Ending for Indy!! 🤠💚
Wait how is this even up the don't plus I haven't seen the movie yet
Just saw this yesterday! I'd see it again.
It's not a terrible movie, but it wasn't great either. It just made me want to watch the superior original trilogy.
What the hell does The Rolling Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil" have to do w/ this? 🤔🙄
Yeah modern music, a black woman that has nothing to do with anything, and an annoying ugly brit was this movies downfall. It really wasn't bad but those 3 things is what turned ppl off
Not a patch on the early movies.....hated the female lead !
The making of? What? This is not even a trailer? Did KK just had it made a few days ago?
I saw it yesterday and can't wait to see it again..I'm also hoping for a spin off series just like star wars Come on Harrison please say yes you don't belong in a museum yet!!!
I missed the ball part.
I totally enjoyed it.
The haters just haven't seen it anyway.
This film is another box office bomb, you cant spent 300M to produce something like this, it is boring, and Kennedy should have be fired already, this woman just destroyed 2 classic franchise for the last 5 years, incredible.
Its a realy great movie!
@@brunoheggli2888 You seem to be spamming comments on anyone that says it sucked. paid shill, or just a disciple of the message?
@@lesigh1749 I am getting paid milliions and i loved the movie to!So its a rea great situation for me!Watch the movie again this week!
@@lesigh1749 Well I for one and many others I personally know loved the movie. An I couldn't give a crap about Disney or whatever. Just watch it, top 3 Indiana Jones movie, instant classic.
Would rather see Sound of Freedom.
The fandom knows better than Disney.
I watched the movie with 0 expectations and I was still disappointed
You didn't really see it, did you.
@@Steve-gc5nt yes I have
I enjoyed it 👍
CGI is horrible, as always in recent years... mostly not because of the CGI artist but the poor time frames and too many changes at last second, story was good, probably too long, leading actress.... old fashion and boring, not attractive at all and anoying, sad because the movie could have being a 10, still a good movie, but not great.
Dunno what people are going on about.
The Phoebe woman is a bit annoying but I enjoyed the movie.
Glad I didn't listen to yt reviewers and comments.
One super ugly chick, they should have cast someone else but it wasn't a bad movie
When is Favreau and Filoni taking the helm of Lucasfilm ? Kennedy has shit her old age bed since taking over.
Best last Indiana movie !!! Always love Indiana Jones !
Did we see the same movie?
started off promising but trudges along to a limp ending. Cool to see ford again but thats about it
Kathleen just had to shove a powerful smart woman in the film because that’s how she likes to ruin things for us Gen Xers.
I know KK has been a part of the franchise essentially from the beginning, but she's given me a bad taste in my mouth of late...
Saw it last week. Lucasfilms is dead. RIP
Peoples loving this movie are blessed.
The worst shit ever served on a plate is enough to make them happy.
Damn right .
For me it's the "I liked it better than crystal skull" crowd. So great hearing THAT'S the bar now lol. Just to be better than the 4th best of the films. Hollywood stopped caring and so too have many fans. Standards really fell
Bullshit!
Which iconic character to dismantle next...?
Please hire the original writers next time~ just like how force awakens had lawrence casdan writing~
Unfortunately I don't think there's going to be a next time...Unless Harrison Ford comes back being even older and probably in his mid-80's or they recast the character...
Are the writers still around?
I really wished they would turn off the camera whenever Kathleen Kennedy speaks. 😠
Why?She is great!
