This was exactly what i was looking for. I'm going to go follow your video step by step now to see if it works for me! I'll let you know the result 😀 And that earned you a sub bro!
The "Set homepoint once" Sets the homepoint once first you arm the quad. (after each battery disconnect)! So you can dis and rearm for turtle mode and still keep your first home position, for example.
UPDATE: Yes it works. SDA and SCL pins. My flight controller doesn't have pads for SDA and SCL, but my Crossfire Nano does. I assume I put the SDA and SCL wires on the Crossfire and the rest of the wires to the power, ground and TX and RX on the flight controller. I seen another video where the guy said you can just put the SDA and SCL wires to another UART on the flight controller, but he didn't say if SDA goes to a TX or RX pad. Do you know?
I also attached the sda and scl to another uart (I can share the picture if needed). The question now how can I set this in betaflight as there is nothing regarding compass in the section port from the uart?
Hello. I tried to connect the magnetometer found in the BN-880. In INAV, I installed CW270flip to make it work correctly. But in Betaflight I have not been able to get any of the values working correctly.
I have a Mamba F405 mk2 flight controller with FURYF4OSD firmware. I have connected a GPS BN-880 module with a built-in HMC5883 magnetometer. GPS works preaty good. But I have not yet succeeded in achieving normal operation of the magnetometer.
Yeah you do want to sit that whole point man. It don't keep track of it after you fucking unplug the battery I mean yeah it's got its own battery for its memory but that's just for hot starting. But yeah go mess around and don't set that home point and see if your thing even comes back at all I'm surprised you got it to go back to you the first time.

So everytime you reconnect the battery and arm it will have set one Homepoint

Are you using the Compass ? Ive the same GPS module, Ive had to use CW180 flip to get mine to show the correct heading .
