I agree with you on the PBA ammo. It is always the least accurate in any airgun (.177 & 22 Cal) I've owned and fired it in. What good is velocity if the accuracy is terrible

Your gamo is very power full , i chronograph at least 10 gamo warm magnum gen3 i and about 4 gamo swarm magnum pro , not all for me , my coworkers and people in my family when they get air rifle they bring to me to clean the barrel and do velocity test , highest i ever got on gamo swarm magnum was 1179 fps but most of them rifles were around 1150 fps with Crosman premier pointed and with gamo swarm magnum pro i got 1177 fps , and im about 5000 feet above sea level , thanks for the video 👍

@Leadbadger557 I’m at 2700 feet above sea level. The ones that were getting close to 1200 were the 7.4 grain I believe. They are the lightest I have.

I got 1500fps with rws hobby. 6 grain.

@johndoee3850 You get any accuracy out of those?

I couldn't bring myself to diesel anything in my 22 magnum gen3i. Spent way too much to risk messing it up.

@vashmatrix5769 Are you aware of anyone who has actually messed up their air rifle dieseling it? Not a story someone tells about someone else but an individual who actually had it happen to them and can explain the situation.

@@HuntShootLive Point taken. I don't know many who've done it. SpringRiflePistonFever said he's not had a prob with diesels in his DIY upgraded ones. I didn't hear back about an off the shelf one. I just keep hearing it can mess up the seal. Probably not a big deal if you have the knowledge to replace it once it's worn out.

@@vashmatrix5769 To each their own. It’s your gun so definitely do as you will. I just can’t find anything but opinion and zero actual instances of it happening.

Damn 😫 I never thought a break barrel can shoot that fast the ones I had when I first collected was only shooting from 600 to maybe 700 fps 🎯🎯🎯🎯

@KINGBREAKBARREL Yeah, even though its not what they claim its still pretty dang awesome for a pellet rifle.

Thanks for sharing. Great work. You may want to try some Predator GTO pellets for both speed and accuracy? My friend has a Winchester pumper which shot 1131 FPS with the now discontinured Winchester Max. Velocity pellets at 4.32g. He has a video out where he shows 1093 FPS on YT @ First State Airgun. Those GTO pellets are copys of the JSB 18.13g lead pellets but made from tin alloy.

@gmanneod8085 Thank you! Yeah, those light alloy pellets are fast, I’m sure, but I be never got them to perform well. Loading problems and accuracy problems.

    So fast are the ADVERTISED
Pba alloy pellets? When you know that, then you can make a more accurate assessment of claimed fps being exaggerated. However I’m sure there are achieving that, but im also sure it’s in a very controlled environment. So not really exaggerated.!
    P.S. Magneto speeds suck! lol

@rentedmule1287 It’s advertising trickery. Pba shoot like trash, in my experience. They won’t even load reliably. And they are too light to be of much use at any range people hope to shoot with those advertised speeds. Having an accurate gun that’s only effective at 20 yards or less takes away any speed benefit. May as well use a heavy pellet that will actually effectively kill game.
And the magneto speed is more than fine. Lab Radar won’t pick up the smaller pellets either, requires the cable attachment trigger for air rifle and it has to be taped on. Much easier to use the magneto speed. Not had the opportunity to try the new garmin yet.
