Matt Ragland 2020 has been awesome. I moved to a new city and started writing and recording more than I ever have. Also, I really like the way you set up your journal. Thank you for sharing!
Love your straightforward and no frills approach to bullet journalling. Doing smth very similar and finding it very productive! In the vertical month view, I simply circle the weekend dates (Saturdays and Sundays), so that it saves time on putting letters of each day. You made a brilliant analogy to the weekly plan as a 'map to follow'. Thank you for being transparent that not every day/week is perfect with tracking, real life bullet journal!
i feel that one of the bujo's strength is the adaptability across the time. If u plan proactively like that, u lose this strength. And 2020 shows us that u can plan 6 months ahead and nothing happens like that. Future log is designed to keep in mind events in a long term but dont close the possibilities. When time arrives u can confirm what is in the future log OR adapt and change ur plan according to the circumstances. I agree wih lots of ur ideas but for me planning so long sbefore and set up spreads months in advance goes against bujo's strentgh.
This is my biggest struggle with bullet journaling. I cannot plan into the future that well. This is why I chose a normal agenda plus notebook this year but there the strict layout annoys me because some days I do a ton of stuff and some days I am just at work, which means just a short task. A solution to this would be brilliant
I can't believe it's March 😳How has 2020 been going for you?

Marching right along! Getting myself organized and enjoying the struggle.

"get your head out of your apps"......love it! 😄
Marion DeSio thanks!
March snuck up on me! 😬
Another great video. If you setup days ahead what happens if you run out of room?
Love the idea of a map, I need to do this.

This year is zooming. I think I’m going to buy a physical notebook for journaling starting in April. The iPad 12.9 journal is too inconvenient.
Great video- thanks
Is there a way to have this format of a planner and also have space to journal inside of it?
i want to ask , do you use digital calendar ?
I do, most appointments go there. It's better for those events. And that's ok - BuJo is still good for me :)
