Other that a few Koken tools and some Capri, Icon has become the biggest part of what hand tools i have now. They've been great. Id like to see them put out a seperate metric set in one of the nice cases, just smaller. It'd be perfect for keeping on an atv.
How are you liking it? The Quinn set is 50$ with 54 pieces, identical but even comes with 4mm shallow and deep and a screwdriver, the con is the case is just plastic with no foam organizer
@@jessedavisimages nice! I’m probably going to get the Quinn for 1/4 inch and Icon for 3/8 since it will be used more and the Quinn is 20% off currently
Ik the ratchet in the 3/8 kit is kinda garbage. it locks up if u lift the handle a tad while trying to tighten/loosen a bolt. the internals are a bit different aswell. it costs less cause they are more cheaply made than the ratchet you buy separately, as for the sockets they are a bit different too. the end where it goes to the anvil is a straight edge instead of it being chamfered but that’s not a big deal tho imo not sure if the 1/4 has the same problems but I wouldn’t be surprised if it does
I had one of them 25% off coupons, so I went last Sunday to get this kit and they didn’t have it in stock. I ended up getting the Badlands off road jack for $239.99.
Nice set! But they forgot the 4 and 4.5 in the metric. I like tekton more but the icon is nice there both good quality. Btw how has everyone been? Havent been on here in a while.
Speaking from experience, what happened was they stole your starter? It didn’t work right in their truck so they returned the starter made sure there was a bolt missing so it would act up weird but seeing that you had a bunch of tools they were pretty sure you guys would replace the star so they’re gonna come back and steal the actually good starter, that’s what we call the stealing world lifetime warranty
I like the Icon tools. Dont care what any videos do to try and diss them. Good on harbor frieght for bringing this line.

You guys and your videos are costing me $$ lol. I did buy this a week ago, and used a 25% off coupon and got it for $75!

@@Danielxperez14I like it, took it outta the case and in my box, foam inserts are nice to have. Haven’t had too much opportunity to use it yet though.

I’ll have to check that out thanks

How is the jack
@@jimprice8557 it’s still in the box. I didn’t need it but I wasn’t going to let the 25% off coupon go to waste.
We want to get one of those jacks
I’ve always wanted the snap on 1/4 set but great googly moo that’s a lot of money this on the other hand I can almost afford.
Nice set! But they forgot the 4 and 4.5 in the metric. I like tekton more but the icon is nice there both good quality. Btw how has everyone been? Havent been on here in a while.
I’ll have to check out the tekton
Pretty good how have you been
We need to check out tekton. Everyone is doing good, how about you?
Nice video 🙌🏻
I think id rather have the Milwaukee squared sided set for the same price. Thinner case too
I feel like it's a good deal when you can get it during a sale.

Ya sure, they came back to give it back... 🤣
I don’t believe the snap on kit foam lifts out like that .. actually pretty cool how it comes out in three pieces.. definitely makes me want it more 😅
You can get the Snap on “kits” in pieces like the ICON.
Not a huge fan of icon tools. For the price I’d rather get tekton or GearWrench
Those foam holders waste a lot of space. They look sweet, but a lot of wasted real estate.
Your right
They do take up a lot of space
The Capri new master 3/8 and 1/4 sets are cheaper and better. Icon stuff is garbage compared to Capri and gearwrench.
We need to check them out
