Thanks for the reveal. The discussion on whether to purchase an action figure that comes with a premium price is interesting. Many times I have viewed Mafex's Iron Man to upgrade my 80th Ann. ML. I don't have any other Mafex (I passed on Thor's little brother) and am weary on spending that much cash.
I feel like with Iron Man, it's so close to the Marvel Legends one that I really don't want to spend that much on him. I've been tempted by the Mezco one since he comes with different effects but still, I like my 20th Iron Man and he's so cheap compared to the little "better" Mafex and Mezco.
@@thestrongcollectors thanks I appreciate that.
Even though the shoulders are removable and the heads swappable, by the looks of it Batman’s neck won’t be posable. His head can still go up and down and side to side with some tilt, but you might not get the full range of motion most of the other Mafex figures get. Just something to consider!
lol kind of like a real Batman not being able to turn his head without using his shoulders.
Heads and shoulder parts are all interchangeable.
On Batman?
@@thestrongcollectors I think so, some of the pictures don't show the spikes. That is sort of my condition to buy it too, need a batman to go with the Mafex Hush Joker and much like you I am not paying big money for the Hush Batman.
I'd be willing to buy a mcfarlane batman if he ever made one in 1/12 scale. Which sadly will never happen. Bane is the only one of the two I'd want. I'm probably just gonna buy the marvel legends squadron supreme and pretend they're justice league figures for the price
I'm surprised we don't see more folks making customs for their DC characters with Marvel Legends.
I think most people just don't want to put the effort into making customs and risk ruining their figures. Along with the cost of buying extra parts or figures. Sadly its the only way they're likely to get dc in that scale without paying mafex prices
That's very true. After getting the parts and putting in the time and effort into making something you're probably about at the value of just buying a Mafex.
Just preordered batman
good call. We're both still on the fence.
That black hush batman from mafex is going for waaaay more than 150 these days
Yeah that's when I decided he was out of range and stopped looking...
The spikes on Batman are removable.
Awesome!
Oh thank god
No, they're not.
@@eduardolamboy4776 they don’t!? It looks like in the promo Pictures there were shots oh him without them. That sucks if true
I think Mcfarlane is prettier. And also the rubbery plastic cape is much more interesting and beautiful!
You might be one of the only people I have seen with that opinion but I bet you're wallet is happy.
