Wow! I just heard this song today in a Canadian mega-drug store. I have not heard this song in years! I have always loved the song and Kreesha Turner's voice. It's possible that I may have shed a tear or two listening to it back then 🤷♂ So glad I re-discovered it today 👍
I was driving home after 12 hours of work at 7am. The sun was rising, the road was windy and it was foggy. The frost on the branches of the trees was almost glowing and looking down the hill towards the river it was like a sea of clouds from the fog. It was a beautiful drive and this song started playing on the radio. It really added to the atmosphere =). Good stuff.
I have searched for this song for such a long time.... I remember vacationing in Vancouver back around 2008 with my family and this song kept playing over and over again... This brings back memories of me sleeping in the cold, but relaxing basement of my aunt and uncle's place with my little nephew who has about 2 years old dancing to this song.. I've searched "girl eating ice cream in the music video", "100 pop Canadian girl singers", etc. and I couldn't remember the lyrics (I just remember the "Anymore" part), but I remembered the girl in the video.. Wow, it's so relieving finding this now and the time and effort looking have now officially ended (6.5.2020)..
My dad used to blast this song wayyy back in 07 or 08 and I’d sing it with him lmao brings back soooo many memories… I sincerely miss being a child and my only source for listening to music was watching MTV and waiting for my fav songs to play lol ohhh to go back to the really good days when social media didn’t poison us all😩
This was my break up song couple years ago I remember when this song came out in Jamaica all the radio stations playing it like crazy , nuff love from Jamaica 🇯🇲
I have started istening to this song again because my childhood babysitter who I haven't seen in about 2 years and was my role model commited sucide over a tough breakup. I remember a lot about her considering she spent two summers babysitting me and my brother. One thing I remeber is this was her favourite song and to be quite honest I don't know how I rembered over these years.
She must have been pretty attached to the guy considering that she was listening to this song and then committed suicide over the breakup. That guy missed out on a great woman, I hope that it was worth it.
I only heard this for the first time recently, and I absolutely love it. This feels like it could be a Supremes song with a modern twist. Her voice is great!
I was a kid when that song came out. One moment I'll always remember for some reason is when I was laying in bed around noon (then again, no reason) and just hearing that song on the radio and playing it at a loud volume. I wasn't gping through anything rough, I was just enjoying the song and I think it was the first time I was singing something outloud (being the very shy and introverted kid I was)
Its not easy to spot it all the time. But Black people have those thick lips combined with the smooth curve of the cheekbone under the eyes. Eyes are sorta like goldfishes, bulging outwards- not always prominent. Not sure how to explain it, I simply use these features to identify.

Back in my teenage years, I was a hockey player. Man, lotta girls were there. And, this song was given to me by one of the girls I dated one night.....after I ignored her for other girls. But now, I still wonder where she is 😏💔
Brings memories back from 2008 when I had just emigrated to Canada working at this shitty coffee shop listening to this song on radio 100 times a day 😄
