I used 1 resistor 3 Ohm and one diode 1N4001 connected in series for bypassing the sensor. And it worked. The cathode of the diode should be connected to the blue wire of the connector.
F.Y.I. The seat does not need to be removed. The part can be installed from the back seat area. You just need to move the seat forward and the sensor is right there. But, unfortunately, the new part didn't work for me. That said, I don't have a scanner to determine the problem. I just was hoping that it would turn off my SRS light. For $11 it was worth a try.
@@rattijuoppo5539 I bought mine on Ebay. As mentioned above, I didn't have a diagnostic tool so I'm just trying different things. It didn't work for me so you can have mine for $10.00 plus shipping if you want. I've tried everything on RUclips to no avail. I'll need to go to the dealer and spend $$$$$$.

@@bobgabrilson5811even with the part installed you still have to scan to reset the system ....code 84 has to be removed.
Yes 😂👍🥇
Did you have to do passenger and driverside?
Link to parts?
just on eBay
So does this then make the passenger airbag not work and only gets rid of the dash light? Or am I just confused?
If you check on obd you’ll see it says passenger seat is occupied. Which means if a crash occurs airbag will deploy no matter what.
@@cwliu2040 better than it not deploying tbf
it means that the passenger airbag will deploy always even if there is no person there
