Urban Ecology Symposium Keynote Speaker

The Urban Climate Adaptation Virtual Symposium, a showcase of climate adaptation strategies and partnerships in urban and suburban ecosystems with an emphasis on environmental justice needs and collaborations, was held on April 4, 2024.
The keynote presentation was given by Dr. Jola Ajibade, an environmental and human geographer and Associate Professor at Emory University who applies both environmental justice and political ecology lenses to study the intersections of climate risk, urban disasters and uneven resilience, climate migration, energy transitions, and societal transformations.
