It's real. I went there when I was 15 with my sister and some friends. We snuck out and took my mother's car and drove what felt like a long time but it only took us about 20 minutes. Some weird things happened that night but all I can remember is the asylum. It was so dark and the gate was huge and covered with vines. We heard noises but nothing spectacular happened. It was super creepy though.

I'm from the north county. This is just one place that's scary. The farther inland you go twords the mountains there are more areas that are infested with ghost and monsters lurking around. some places are kinda hard to get to.

"Questhaven, Questhaven let me in!" I remember years ago going up to the gate and saying that on Halloween. Scared the crap out of me. Of course I was just a teenager at the time and its was completely different then in the 1990's then it is out there today. I believe though that there are energies out there that are unexplained. I grew up in PQ. We had stories all over that area of weird happenings. The White Lady, Questhaven, The Dark Entity in PQ. Hanging Tree in Poway. Etc. all around those areas.

WHAT THE SHIT??! I used to live there w my parents in high school on Los Vientos Serenos 😅 Yes there (was? Elfin Forest is mostly developed now) waaas a creepy looking road, Questhaven Rd. where the trees were so dense they grew basically a tree-tunnel, and the rumors were well-known about it being haunted. I can confirm it definitely was an ominous stretch of two lanes for coastal North County San Diego, and we did smoke a lot of weed, drink & hook up with local girls in a spot on Questhaven called "the pit"- an actual pit with old couches, nearby beds 🤭 & a fire pit but I never saw or heard supernatural activity in the vicinity. Not to say some people didn't, it's just entertaining to hear about my little old neighborhood. Great Channel btw! 👍

I actually had an encounter out there in elfin forest. I was driving one night to go “talk” To the guardian of elfin forest out there. The guardian basically is a great big tree that looks like has a human sized fairy inside of it. On our way back out of elfin forest though we saw a car driving right towards us. I swerved but then the car swerved also. After that it seemed like the headlights and the car went right through us.
There’s a legend talking about the DevilDriver that use to drive cars off of the road back in there 40s. I don’t know you’re going to find any stories about that but I firmly believe in that one because it happened to me and my friends

I used too go out there drunk alone I lived right off Quince st and Escondido Blvd I don't know what led me their but It did and Right before you get to the gates My car turned off lol I was like screw it I grabbed a bottle from my trunk ..I had already called my ex husband Too come get me He was like wtf are you doing there so A lady comes out of no where older lady and says you in trouble ? I said kinda but my husband's on his way. She said ohh She seen my bottle and told me She could make the pain go away I just had too say yes and willingly agree too follow her into the woods ..My mind was intrigued But my Heart was beating like crazy .. I told her It's ok thank you., Are you a spiritual women? she smiled and said She was running late for her meeting ?? In the woods?? And then ok and then she said I'll see you around David shouldn't be far Now ?? 😭😭 I never told her my ex husbands name ...😵 I went back a few times and the only thing I seen was a guy in a robe like the hospitals give you and he was waving at cars lol Shit is weird There I have a Spiritual intuition like I'll hear stuff or see a person in st and then Find out they died .. Or smells

*Also, I was baptized Catholic (possibly the last time I attended church other than getting circ'd tmi 👍 and some weddings/ funerals...) -inside that old building when I was a baby. Harmony Grove is actually a pretty nice community between Encinitas, Rancho Santa Fe & Escondido. I grew up in Leucadia, Encinitas (old-Encinitas: a flaky beach town) & later my family moved to Elfin Forest when I was about 16. The local public high schools are La Costa High, San Dieguito Academy and closer to Del Mar, Torrey Pines High. I got expelled from Torrey Pines for truancy 😃 and somehow graduated from San Dieguito ("Sandy Ghetto") That entire area was a lot of fun in late 90's/ early 2000's

I was out in elfin forest when visiting my cousin. My girl, my cousin, his friend and I were driving when my friend told me to stop the car because he had said he'd seen the white lady. I started laughing and telling him he was full of shit but the look on his face, I'll never forget. I did what he said and left the way we came in. He told me the story on the way out. I didn't see it so I'm still a skeptic. So idk
