I figured that's what you meant as your library of Sim Racing games suggest you are well entrenched in immersion Racing and stepping up to direct drive
Your opinion's always start out like they are going to be opinionated, and then you pull a reversal. GIVE YOUR OPINION. IF YOU CAN'T, DON'T BOTHER WITH THESE VIDS. I won't be anymore.
Hey man maybe you can also do a review of Cammus sim gear, their 15nm dd is only $499. Maybe they can send you one too if you ask them, they have an english instagram. They're also new in sim and also based in china. Price is almost comparable or cheaper to a DIY servo direct drive so it might be too good to be true
This completely changed everything! I have been steering in the direction of the more commonly known wheels such as Thrustmaster and Fanatec for my setup. But now, I have this. The quality is top notch, and it has the features and the looks. I am definitely going to get this and the ecosystem in the future. I emphasize future because I am going to have to save a pretty penny as almost everything is $200-$500.
Everything you see in this video is about 2000-2200$ as you pay for the Rev Meter and wheel rim separately I just don’t see how they can compete with simucube which is amazing quality and is one of the fastest reacting wheels on the market when it comes to giving you feedback or with fanatec which has amazing eco system they need to review their pricing
yeah, it's an interesting first product, I feel they should have either aimed at the budget DD market or super high end with their first product, there is just no reason to buy this over a Simucube or Fanatec
Its is a seriously impressive product that Moza came up with. There's nothing bad I can say about what I've seen from them. Maybe Fanatec will step up their game, seeing that Moza looks to be more of a premium product than the Podium wheel bases. Plus their software suite seems to be more complete than Fantec's Fanalab. Good stuff Moza! Again, I am impressed. Its a little too pricy for me, but I wouldn't feel like I made a bad purchase if I were to get an R16 setup. That is the base, steering wheel and pedals. Oh well... Back to my CSL DD. LOL
I went from g27 to g29 then to simagic m10 and I dont need any better. It's so immersive and strong. Plus its 1000 with a wheel. Nice quality metal wheel too.
Hey man awesome video. Can you please do a Fanatec CSL DD review it would mean the world to me. I am looking at purchasing it and you are the only guy I trust with reviews. I am ordering the Next Level Racing GT Track because of you!!
Looks like a complete alternative solition to fanatec ecosystem... But to many regular sim racers.. it might be a little bit out of reach in term of pricing... Also the pedals seems like simagic version have an edge to this one...
Ny question is, why is it that you are basically the only youtuber to receive the product to review? How did you even find out about the product since they seem to have come out of nowhere with virtually no marketing? It just seems questionable.
because he's never used a DD before and they want good reviews. so of course this will have been the best setup he's ever gotten his hands on and he'll have nothing bad to say about it. marketing strategy.
Something I thought of is that there aren't many people making Linux gaming videos. In fact, there only about 3 Linux Sim racing videos. It would be interesting to see if you can do all the same things in Linux or not. Most of the games (at least Steam ones) should run just fine, and most of the plug and play wheels will work. but if it requires a program to set up, it might be harder to work. I have done research, and the Logitech g29 seems to work in Linux now, but it didn't used to without huge amounts of tweaking. Linux is easy to install, but a little harder to uninstall. You don't have to get rid of Windows or Mac, at least not with some better versions of Linux. You don't have to do it, but it is a really small market right now. It will most likely grow significantly after the launch of the Steam deck. I dual boot, so if something doesn't work in Linux, I can always use Windows. Not all Linux users can dual boot though.
@8:50 Well.... the whole thing is ALU so basically the whole thing is a heat sink on it's own. I boubut it's ever gonna overheat if you have proper airflow in the room.
Seems to be a decent product, but in my book it's just too expensive compared to it's competitors. Especially as it tries to establish a closed ecosystem. For the price of the R21 I can also get a Simucube 2 Pro. And for the price of the R16 I get the VRS. Both are arguably the better package in terms of price/performance.
A G29/920 is a great starting point in terms of value for money. They're built tough as nails, get discounted frequently and will show you quickly if this hobby is for you long term.
They'd probably have to lower the quality to hit that price point. Plastic bits, weaker motor, no carbon fiber, etc... Wouldn't surprise me if they released a model like that in the future.
Quite expensive for a totally new brand DD wheel base.. i dont really think many people will pay 2000 euros for something that new, but i could be wrong.. i just think people will buy the brands with eco system and bundle prices
@vjollila96 not really. I sold my osw 20nm mige with biss c encoder a week ago and ive had simucube 2 pro for 3 days and the difference is slight but there but not like you would expect.
looks like a toy, over priced considering the simucube 2 is another level to this and doesnt look like a childs toy. The only good thing i see is the lvd screen but the price of this over fanatec or simucube is ridiculous and missed opportunity to aim for the cheap direct drive market. well reviews though 👏
How can you say with any degree of certainty simcube is on another level to this? He hasn't used a DD before so hasn't been able to compare it to any other DD, and I'm guessing you haven't tried the Moza yet 😂
@@chrisperry5244 Wrong. I have tried it as a friend no names has one for review and it was faulty so had to send another kit. They are asking the same prices (21nm) as DD1 and simucube 2 pro. do you have to return the setup? or can you keep it (you’d be set for life (if it lasts))

I didn't know I needed reviews of sim racing products that I can't afford with a hefty dose of memes in my life, but here I am.
I love how the quick connect looks like a real racecars
spectacular review as always! glad that new contenders are coming to the sim racing market to shake it up a littlebit.

Mostly this product target for Chinese customer like simagic
I agree, for this amount of money I'd rather invest in Fanatec (If I care about console compatibility) or simucube
Let‘s gooo.! first review of the Moza 👌🏻

Its is a seriously impressive product that Moza came up with. There's nothing bad I can say about what I've seen from them. over £2000 all in wheel pedals and dash 🤣
looks sick, but its way out of my price range
hope you get to keep your review sample^^
I hope so too 😅 thanks for watching
That looks sick, I just don’t know if I’d trust the reliability as it’s just came out
long-term reliability is something I’ll be keeping an eye out for! But I agree with you, too soon to know for sure.

Lol since you posted the unboxing of this I was reading it monza 😂
Hi wich rig do you have and did you have to drill holes to fit the base? Thanks
How did your GT track cope with a high end wheel like this?
Sturdy but loud at times when going over kerbs or crashing as everything trembles
which steering wheels are compatible with the moza? (that is not a moza steering wheel)
Thanks for the detailed review ❤
Do I need mount parts to install it on the GT track or can I install it directly without any parts ?
Directly with the included gt track mounting bolts 👍
