I take no pride in admitting that I've done some document forging in my time. Nothing financial, mostly just fake IDs and official-looking paperwork. But I did it in the era of Photoshop and graphic design software. And though this story is mostly fictional, this guy did way more than I ever did, and he did it with a typewriter, milk cartons and model airplanes... Nothing but hero worship for this guy.
My dad remembers following the story on the news as it happened; Apparently Frank wasn't portrayed so glamorously.
I absolutely love this movie. While there are some funny scenes, I have never considered this movie to be a comedy. I would call it more of a crime drama.
The cast is incredible. The tension of the story is intriguing. The music is perfect for this movie.
Jennifer Garner melts the screen.
I love his concept of hiding in plain sight. It took me so many years to realize how he was using others to attract attention away from him.
I love this movie! This was one of the first films that made me a fan of Leo. Great job on the reaction!
That time you're routing for the "bad guy." Another classic from DiCaprio, Spielberg, Williams and Hanks.
I can't put a finger on it, but for some reason this has always been one of my all-time favorite movies. Thank you for reacting to it!
Glad you enjoyed it
Maybe it's bc its a great movie with great actors... 🧐
Same, right from the start with the music and the intro titles it's captivating.
16:16 The building they used for the TWA terminal is the TWA Hotel at JFK airport in NY. It was originally the TWA terminal. It was turned into a hotel when TWA went out of business. The interior still has that retro 60s decor. You can see in this video:
ruclips.net/video/AGt_Yn6JrdA/видео.html
You should watch another Spielberg/Hanks film, The Terminal (2004)
Trivia: Real Frank Abagnale as French cop at 44:35 (with the black cap)
If you haven’t already seen it, another movie with an even younger Leonardo DiCaprio and a young Johnny Depp is “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape” (1993).
Leo was nominated for an oscar
@@geraldarsenault275 Deservedly so.
Loenardo acting was excellent. So good.
Great movie, but Frank made up just about everything that happened in the movie. The biggest con he ever pulled was convincing Spielberg his story was true.
Lovely watching this w you - you seemed really tuned in to the deeper themes here - IMO this movie was very personal for Spielberg - his parents also divorced when he was young (see his autobiographical Fabelmans) - wonderful how he uses DiCaprio, Hanks, and Walken - IMO DiCaprio needs more roles like this, that play on his luminous exuberance - Walken hints at a touch of insanity beneath his facade and denial - other personal Spielberg films include ET and West Side Story, two masterpieces - pls react to them 🙂
There was a TV series based on this, called White Collar. Incredible cast and great storytelling. You should absolutely check it out!
Great true story! Thank you for reacting to this one!
Emna just so you know the James Bond film he was watching was "Goldfinger".
But I suggest starting classic James Bond films with "Dr No"
Oh!! Looks like a great idea for the future!😉 Thanks!!!
A really good movie with Leo & Mark Walberg you should check out is The Basketball Diaries 🤘
Now, watch Leonardo DiCaprio again in The Departed & The Wolf of Wall Street & Tom Hanks again in Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan & Toy Story 1-4 😀.
Beautiful reaction as always Emma 🥰 Enjoyable movie but highly exaggerated
Hello Emma, great to see you!😊 You have a lovely figure, no need to change. The pairing of Tom Hanks and Leonardo Decaprio really makes this film a lot of fun. John Williams (Jurassic Park) does another great job here. He was the orchestra leader for the Boston Pops for many years here. Great job reacting to this adventurous film, Emma!!!🎬👏👏👏👏
Oh thank you!
Nice reaction! The movie to match! All the more so that it was inspired by a real fact! You are gorgeous!
Thank you so much!!☺️
great reaction Emma! Have a great week!
Thank you! You too! 😘
Check out the show growing pains from the 1980s that’s young decaprio
I always felt Leo was miscast in this movie. He looked too young for this role. The actual guy looked older for his age.
Beautiful movie
Knock knock...
Emma Awesome Video Today!!🔥🐐🐐💎
Glad you liked it!!
OK Emma I know you've already seem The Departed but if you want a good Leonardo DiCaprio film I suggest watching The Wolf Of Wall Street.
Oh, thank you for the suggestion!!!
They made a Broadway musical of this movie. It's very good! A cough cough slime tutorial of it is on youtube.
suggestion Amityville horror
Love your reactions!
Thank you!! 😁
You should react to Charlie and The Chocolate
factory!!
suggestion night of the living dead black and white 1968
love you Emma xoxo
Very fun yarn. There are questions as to if the main character made up the story or if it actually happened. Either way it's a pretty good story. I hope you like it.
Another, somewhat forgotten, Spielberg movie from 1989 is "Always'. It was, sadly, Aubrey Hepburn's last movie. I think you would enjoy it. It is a adventure/surreal/romantic comedy.
Fun and mostly factual movie. I love it!
Hi Emma🎼Hope you’re doing well🌺Hope you enjoy this True story and have a Nice evening ❣️
Thank you! You too!
