    Welcome, friends! Today I'll be demonstrating for you this semi-abstract painting using a palette knife for watercolour!     Equipment list: I'm using Saunders Waterford High White Hot Press paper today, weight 140lb, size 1/4 imperial. My colours are: Burnt Sienna, Cobalt Blue, and Burnt Umber. My brushes today are: a Daler Rowney Aquafine Skyflow 2 inch wash brush; a Winsor & Newton Cotman 'One Stroke' flat brush size 19mm or 3/4 inch; a Da Vinci 'Colineo' flat synthetic brush size 12; a Pro Arte 'Sword' liner brush size Small; and a Pro Arte Masterstrokes Series 60 miniature brush size 4/0.

    Another wonderful painting. The colour choice seems to match the mood of the UK with the neglected looking plant life in the midst of a heat wave.
    Choice of colour for the foliage on the trees would have been darker for me, given that we're looking up at them, and the sky is bright which would put the trees in silhouette from such a perspective. But art is subjective and what pleases one person may sicken another.
    I really love the finished article as it is. Well done sweet lady. TTFN.

    I saw a couple of houses around the farthest tree…..before you painted over them…very nice painting!

    The same painting cannot be imitated twice. The interesting thing is that the bleeding pattern turns into a landscape as it is. Vigorous and attractive.🌟

    What brand and size is the green-handled tree abs texture brush? Fascinating painting! Will be trying this method out today!
