I was in a vehicular accident when l was 19yrs & suffers from whip lash to my neck & spine , now am over 63 yrs having trouble sleeping all nite ; l.had a severe breakdown after l went through my divorcee at 45yrs ; my doc put me on Prozac & Ampitriptlyn after l bacame like a zombie , l used to be sleep walking at 10am on mornings ; no Appitite & lack of energy ; l discuss with a relative who worked at a hospital pharmacy & l got info on substitutes in natrual herbs that helped me & l stopped those meds , its only sleep problems some nites l experience , like if l lack exercise or l didnt go for my long vigorous walks , l only sleep 3 to 4 hrs every nite now , but l catch a little nap during the daytime to help make up my sleep time as am retired now & dont have to clock a card ; l also does home gardening to get some exercise & sweat too.
