That thing is awesome, he did such a great job with the flaps, landing gear, and nav lights I half expected to see the engine cowls move into reverse thrust position when he touched down.
First of all, Wow. I just recently watched a few of these indoor R/C videos and just realized what it is that I like. The slower and smoother flights are more to scale. Outdoor R/C is just too fast and jerky but these flights look just so real :-)
I love the music in the background while it goes with the airbus A310 flight

A remarkable piece of modern engineering and all in such a small space, so light and to be flown in such a restricted area. All I can say is ,human intelligence at its best. To risk to fly so many hours of hard work, there is more than intelligence in anyone who can do this, there is personality and confidence in oneself, all what schooling cannot provide, but that potential within every person, but a potential which is awakened in only a few people. Congratulations.

@@Tryinglittleleg impossible. it would need a huge volume for helium to lift... that is why baloons are big... this is a light rc plane... depron 1mm, etc

These are perfect imho... the slow speed models the real-world movement (scaled down) and feels completely life-like. I want one and a massive hangar to fly it in .

Very impressive, especially when you figure in the retracts as well.
This is a great idea. The model is mostly a helium balloon with slightly negative buoyancy. The ducted fan engines only need to provide a small bit of forward thrust to get enough lift for it to fly. Because it flying at a relatively slow speed the maneuvering appears much more life like compared to standard RC models. This would be a double edge sword because any wind would probably be too much for the engines to match so this can only be outside in a no wind condition or inside. The best thing about it is the the light weight and slow speeds make it a very safe design for even beginners to use.

Great idea for cheap flights. Make passengers wear oxygen masks, fill the cabin with helium and off you go. Down side, passengers arrive at destination speaking in a high, squeaky voice.

wonderful ! you really should further consider producing kits? Filled with air/heli mix, or ballast, it might be able to fly in a little breeze? It almost looked like it was flying less than scale speed? Scale visual speed is such a rare and cool thing in scale rc aircraft, modeling, and airliner's fuse lends itself so well to a gas bag.

Where were these when they filmed those airplane disaster films in the 1970s? The models they used in those films were adequate, at best, not to mention they dangled those on strings; these are far superior and actually fly on their own power.
