Actually a very big fan of super pigmented blushes, because it's basically like getting way more product in a small package. I enjoy having products that I go through slower because I usually only own one blush at a time, and that's true for hyper pigmented products. So I think I'll give these Haus Labs blushes a try

i’m a little bothered because youtube removed my comment or didn’t properly post it or whatever buuutttttt… i would love the opportunity to sit and talk to kackie and color. as a black woken with a “medium” skin tone, i watch kackie because she has the same skin needs as me (dry AF) AND for the most part she likes the same shades as me. what i find interesting, and kind of infuriating, is that brands don’t seem to make those muted, mucky, grungy, beigey shades that i like in variations that work for my skin tone. i feel like i miss out on the shades i like because they’re either not going to show up at all or they’ll be ashy. what i tend to run into is the brand making those shades and then the shades “targeted towards deeper skin” are neon colors. im a neutral/olive, i don’t do well with neons and brights. i said all that to say, when i hear kackie talk about the haus labs blush sticks being too pigmented, it peaks my interest because of my interest in some of the shades. it guts me that she hates them, but her description of them has made me want to try the hibiscus and lilac shades even more because they might actually show up. that was a rant and i’m sorry. thank you for coming to my TED talk. 😅😊

I am very hesitant because of the Coconut Alkanes as the second ingredient that has a comedogenic rating 4 of 5 and the vitamin E (comedogenic 3/5)😢. Maybe you mentioned some time ago that you have no problems with coconut derived ingredients but Coconut Alkanes have a bad rep regarding pore clogging so i am confused. Do you check for pore clogging ingredients at all or do you have besides the sun sceen filters any big no nos?
I have the HL Glassy Hibiscus 🌺 and I love it...I use a mattifying primer and then put it directly on my cheeks...and I add more at the end 😂 And MUFE had that palette on sale fo $66 during Memorial day...I contemplated buying it but chose to get MBMs new bronzer instead...and I'll get more HL blushes when they officially launch
Kackie, can you do shade comparisons for the westman atelier blushes ? I love her blushes and feel like I need both because I can’t decide, but my bank account won’t appreciate me picking up both 😢
The WA blushes are a crazy price but I’m pretty sure I will die with it still going strong. I have Chouchette and I love it. I also have tried Mimi (hated it, so brown/grey), Petal (too pink for me), and Bichette (works for lips for me). Brûlée in the lit up highlight stick is my under eye transition blush and has the added benefit of adding moisture. I would like to try Minette though still.
I'm always nervous about applying a base product with my fingers because my pores are on the larger size. Any thoughts/suggestions from the Kackie Family?
I love Westman Atelier. I feel like it's what ILIA would be if they had been loyal to their customer base. I only got into clean/green beauty because it was literally the only option that didn't give me a rash. Now ILIA's introduced a bunch of unregulated or low-key chemical sunscreens into their formulas and they're not smooth, durable formulas anyway. Like ... Wat. If i wear their products now, I'll look disfigured from rashes. Thank F for Gucci Westman. Elegant products with formulas anyone can use. Plus the little ❤️ omg yes.

I picked up the Nouveau palette 1/2 off over the weekend! Also I have an old old old Nars sex appeal somewhere (I never throw out powder makeup unless it seems obviously bad) I’m going to dig up out of my bureau and retry! I remember thinking when Dior Rosie glow brush went viral that I had a Nars blush back in the day named Gaiety that was similar. I may have to dig that one out too 😂.

I LOVE Nars Orgasm color. But, I've fallen in love with cream blushes. Do you have a good cream blush, color dupe to try? I haven't read positive things about the Nars cream blush...
The NARS liquid is not great. But brands KNOW orgasm is super popular, so there are TONS of dupes in other brands and other formulas. I don't really like orgasm on me so I can't point you toward a favorite of mine, but peachy pink with a gold shift is very easy to find in other lines.

If you want a blendable, creamy, palette of cream colors mob makes palettes you can fill with mob cream products yourself so u could essentially recreate this makeupforever palette and not struggle with buying a whole new palette if you run out of one shade
If I am buying makeup for a 14 year old they get skin care first: cleanser, toner, moisture, sunscreen. Then they get mascara and lip gloss, plus a light fragrance. All from the drug store.
I 110% felt seen when you discussed putting makeup on that is two dark for your skin tone. I always thought that I was a light cool toned individual. I… was… So… wrong! Im quite fair and lean very neutral, almost warm toned. Once I accepted that, I have done a lot better with my makeup. The Natasha Denona INAN palette came out and got some flack because there was only one dark shade and my heart was singing about how pale and desaturated the color story was because I’m also pale and desaturated 😂. It shows up beautifully in my skin!
I think the ATHR rose quartz palette was the first that was so unabashedly pale I was like OHHH it's not always about the color/undertone itself, sometimes its just about it being LIGHT enough that it doesn't instantly overwhelm the rest of my face.

I'm prone to perimenopausal acne *and* have an intolerance to several coconut derived ingredients and the LE skin tint does not break me out.

If you have a cool undertone, many pink blushes will pull peach/warmer than they look in the pan

😮So don't apply a powder blush frist just apply the balm blush and is really glossy
