I use so many of these keywords and 'big HR ideas' in people management conversations every day, but had forgotten, or never asked about where they were first coined or why - ie. their original context. In the year 2000 Michael Minns Human Resources founder Michael Minns established The Australasion Society for the Abolition of Performance Apprasials. Thus allowing managers to do the job that they are paid to do i.e manage the day to day accountabilities of their direct reports. This concept has taken off like a wildfire with all types of organisations following suite; engineering organisations, professional services firms, retail chains and so on. So much so that a second form of membership was established for those individuals who find themselves in a situation where they believe that PAs do more harm than good however they are trapped in an employment situation where they don't believe in PAs but the work culture requires them to be conducted on an annual basis ;
Seems to be very Indian based? Excuse my ignorance but is this the aim of the video or is it actually based on the worldwide creating and evolution of HR?

It is not India based. It just so happened that many innovations in HR were birthed in India, like the 8 hour shift!!!
