Yes....Brenda gets dropped after carrying the label for decades while singing like no one else ever could or probably ever will. Her range of songs and emotions are just....too far out there. Thank you for searching and coming up with new gems. Don Hicks
@@russ5024 As the video says, there was a money settlement with the amount being undisclosed. By "settlement", did you mean something else? In my opinion, I think her record sales are under reported and we really don't know how many records she actually sold.

A little clarification is needed about the picture @ 3:26 . The recording contract was actually signed May 21, 1956 by Brenda's mother. The picture is likely May 26 or possibly June 23. I think there were "Junior Jubilee" editions on those dates.
