My wife bought one of these to replace our old one. Don't ask me why as the old one still worked after 16 years. The old one made cold water this one make cool water

I buy the "reusable" blue caps which are designed for this type of bottle and they keep it sealed till it's punctured when seating it on the dispenser. They work great.

Thanks for the Video, I feel that this should solve my problem of not cooling the water enough as before. The baffle and internal Non Return valve might have got disturbed while transporting dispenser to my new place.

ive had mine almost 4 years now and just the other day it stopped being cold. I need to check a few things... otherwise its time to order the new bottom load with the built in K cup coffee maker! :)

If the unit is at level, please make sure that none of the screws holding the condenser grate in place are loose; a loose grate could allow rattling from the compressor vibration. On mine, the cold light always remain on and never turn itself off. Even after leaving it on for a day the cold water still remain room temperature water.

Don't let the Disney princess music fool you these units are a piece of shit. You should be able to get at least one quart of ice cold water out of it. Mine won't even make one glass even with the hot side off all day. It makes hot water though but big deal. Garbage.

Thank you for contacting us. To troubleshoot, turn off switches on the back and unplug your machine. While the machine is turned off, dispense about 4 cups of water from the hot dispenser(UNLESS YOU HAVE MODEL 601242 or 601264). Then, plug the machine back up , and turn on only the red switch. Allow one 15 minutes for the unit to heat the water before checking the temperature. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact us at [e-mail] for further assistance.

Mine works at least but does not get cold only slightly cool. Thinking about just returning it for a refund and trying another brand!
