I'm quite new at sewing but have made a few of these and they have come out perfect. I love your videos, you are a very kind and good teacher.

This is such a cute little bag, and I always love lots of pockets!

Debbie, thank for the tutorial. I made the bag today for a gift. I did modify the pattern a little by making it a bit bigger and boxed the corners instead of using the gusset. Really enjoyed making it. Will post of photo on FB once the gift has been received.

I work with seasoned Quilters who all seem to cut so precisely. I try to cut carefully but my pieces always end up slightly off. I make it work but wish I could be one of those perfect cutters! So I really appreciate you honesty in admitting you also struggle with the same thing and that it is ok. It all works out in the end! I love this little wristlet with all the pockets. I will be making this one. I don't mind hand stitching a bit. Especially binding. If it makes the project look better, it is worth it! Thank you for your wonderful tutorials.

"I'm a lazy sewer and I can't be bothered" ....... LOVE IT! So happy I'm not the only one! And I'm happy I'm not the only one who tries to cut straight lines and somehow it doesn't come out straight. Great tutorial Deby! I'm going to give this a try.

It is obvious that you have found your calling, Deby.
And I fall in love with your site and your channel more and more with each viewing.
Your talent and creativity are inspiring. But equally inspiring is the fact that I am watching a person blossom in her element.
Bravo! I eagerly await whatever you will bring us next.

Deby I am soo glad that you mentioned you have trouble with cutting out. I get really annoyed with myself as I try so hard to get perfect size cuts, i have a rotary cutter and all that is needed. Each time its just that little bit not perfect. It doesn't really matter to the finished project, but just so annoying. I love the things you make, and you are a really good teacher. Thank you for all you"re help.

+crackerdacker I get it too, even with the quilting rulers and rotary cutter. I think fabric is just so flexible and a little bit stretchy that it grows and moves out of shape as we work it. That's OK though, we can usually square things up. That's why I still prefer a larger 1/2 inch seam allowance rather than a 1/4. Gives some wiggle-room.

me too. my problem is with the quilting ruler and rotary cutter, it slightly slips at the end of the cutting. No matter how hard I try to press down on the ruler, so it doesn't move. frustrating.

marsbeads try having the side of your hand (your little finger) off the side of the ruler. It stops ur ruler from sliding

thanks for great instructions. I have a similar problem it could be because one eye is slightly out of alignment. when I look through one eye aligning up a distant vertical line with a close up vertical line, then change which eye I look through, the line jumps across. I favour one eye for distance & the other for close up.

I made this bag, but I added another zip pouch in the center that was sewn into the sides and bottom of the lining. I had to alter the inner gusset piece to adapt to the center zip pouch. I also sewed the bag together like the cosmetics bags I've also seen on this channel, so that I didn't need to use bias tape on the edges.

Emma Diamond the sizes of the pieces are in the text under the screen, if you can't see it look for a tiny down arrow usually to the right side of the title.

Hi Debbie, such lovely little projects that you do.👍However, as you show what to sew, can you say out the dimensions of the pieces please. Many of us viewers don't have a computer, nor a printer. We see the internet on our smart phones. Thanks. 😊

It is a Frixion Pen. The ink is erasable. You can find them in quilt stores and maybe some office supplies.
