It's just barely possible. But then, as you note, if you go into the second district without watching the cutscene in front of the accessory shop, it soft locks because the heartless never spawn.
Simba's Proud Roar does do Gravity damage, but only at max charge. At stages 1 and 2, it does non-elemental damage, and at stages 3 and 4, it does Stun damage.

Since mobs have low defense to Gravity damage, these moves(Gravity/Gravira/Graviga, Zantetsuken, Gravity Break, Proud Roar lv.3/4, Showtime(when he uses Gravity) and Trinity Limit) can be set to effectively 1-shot any mob in the game while strictly regulating how much they do to each boss using a single stat.
Pretty sure the barrels blocking the upper part of Monstro's mouth leading to the 2nd Parasite Cage fight are there so that if you've done Neverland first and then return you can't Glide across to bypass the first fight or Riku cutscenes. The cutscenes actually change if you've completed Hollow Bastion first and then encounter Riku in Monstro because the context changes now that Ansem has possessed his body.
I think I read somewhere on the wiki that at somepoint during the development, Bahamut might have been planned to be in the game, but the idea was repurposed into someone else (Mushu i think?) and the command became unused. You can get that command by cheatcodes/hacking the game, which seems to be what was used in this vid, but (as you can see) using it immediately crashes the game.

The Atlantica sequence break can softlock the entire game if done at a specific moment. If you do the skip while Ariel is not in your party, the game will softlock because you won't be able to continue the story to get Ariel back, the save points will be deactivated and the Triton cutscene won't have Ariel on it and the game will just stop functioning. I had this happen to me when I tried this and had to start from the beginning. zzzzz
There was a lot of interesting stuff in this video that I didn't know I was signing up for from the title/thumbnail I would have much more quickly clicked on titles that suggested these scenarios like why enemies don't get 1-shot and what happens when you attempt content long before you should be able too. Not really, the generic enemy code should just include stop. Only makes sense if stop wasn't included early in development and they didn't have a base "class" that they could update to include stop. It screams poor programming

4:09 the reason it crashed was because bahamut is a scrapped summon from late in kh1's development but this mod unlocked him and when you sunmon bahamut the game crashes because the files for bahamuts summon are gone and the game confuses itself and tries to load something that doesent exist and crashes as a result

Bahamut was intended to be a summon in the original KH, but it was scrapped, but code for it can still be found, though as you're trying to do something that the games has no idea what to with, it just ends up crashing. Also, "I'm surprised gravity works" in Halloween Town is odd to say since I'm pretty sure by that point you could have gravity.

Yeah, in the original Sora capped at 84 (without accs), and 87 in the remix. Goofy at 78, and Donald at 54. Maybe they upped Sora's max hp in the remix so that Goofy with all accs wouldn't surpass him anymore with full hp accs too? Goofy gets 4 acc slots, and with 4 Gaia Bangles in the OG he'd have 114 hp too.
About that damage ceiling thing, almost all enemies in the game have that. Most regular heartless will take 2 or 3 normal hits to kill, even if you somehow had 15 million strength. Although, it doesn't seem to be the case for magic. That would oneshot all normal enemies with enough MP. Hacking to 255 MP even shows that bosses lose a bar or two of HP per gravity spell. Although, this is for the OG version. I'm not sure if Final Mix goes by the same rules.
Just the other day I beat Pot Scorpion in like 30 seconds. I swear I don’t know what I did differently this time, because that boss is always a piece of shit on every play through.
I was always under the assumption they wanted and expected you to ride the dolphin to get through to access the other path so once the game detected you interacted with the dolphin, it removed the wall. It didn't matter you weren't physically in the dolphin. It was a check that when true simply removed the barrier.
The reason using gravity break on Anti-Sora doesn't break the game is because Nomura and the team fixed that problem in final mux so the bug only exist in vanilla KH1.

Since you didn't set the appropriate flags, the Ursula boss room likely loaded a placeholder event config from builds where the boss fight was not implemented yet and it would just kick you out to advance the game. That's my feeling but I could dig into it.
You can actually increase the damage ceiling, but only for magic. If you go for the max MP hackable which is 256 mp, you can damage a certain super boss really fast with a certain magic.

Started myself to run the whole serious to 100% all games of the series from the collections on my switch on the highest difficult. But will do some games more than one time to do proud and critical mode. And maybe someday every game on level 1. Yesterday completed KH1 on proud. Never defeated Sephiroth in the past on the PS2 so I'm pretty happy. Also defeated Mysterious Figure without cheese. And yes proud mode is appropriate because I'm proud to see how much I improved over my past self in the game. So now I trust in the heart of the cards in Re:CoM
It's fairly common for games with damage caps to have an oversight of a character that does a lot of really tiny hits since they don't reach the damage cap the only thing that can really stop them is invincibility frames usually :b Edit: Obviously another oversight is when a character can reach the damage cap but also hits a bunch x3
Also, the bars stop extending when you hit 120 HP and 20 MP.... But old codebreaker codes for the OG version allowed you to have 255 HP and 255 MP, with the 255 MP causing summons to crash instantly cause they had TOO MUCH of a bar.... But given damage and time for summons is tied to Max MP anyway.... that's probably why it crashes
0:28 iirc Sora's max hp is 114 and max mp is 19, this is at level 100 with the +2 max mp from dream rod, +3 MP from Diamond Dust and 3 Cosmic Arts equipped, both hp and mp will line up instead of one bar being longer then the other
Using like an action replay cd to give myself everything from the jump was the only way I could beat this game when I was less than 10 years old, and with a guide too! There was just so much content and magic and stuff I could not wrap my head around unlocking everything myself

This is so funny, I used to use GameShark back in the day, and this is exactly what would happen lol. My favorite was to use Stop magic, and it would freeze bosses for MINUTES! I would hit the hell out of them, and when they would eventually unfreeze, they'd take all the hits and damage given lol.

The scorpion or the centipede? They both suck, just asking out of curiosity. I never really considered the scorpion a boss, I guess.

This is so funny, I used to use GameShark back in the day, and this is exactly what would happen lol. My favorite was to use Stop magic, and it would freeze bosses for MINUTES! I would hit the hell out of them, and when they would eventually unfreeze, they'd take all the hits and damage given lol.
The reason your party kept being level 1&2 is because the level decider equation overflowed. Hence beast was level 2
