Erik, please make a design series!! Just you showing your design process, software, architecture, interior design considerations, and customer interaction. That would be fantastic!!
Noooo, please don't do that. There are million horrible shows like that, full of people yapping about paint colors and lighting and how the customers feel about every tiny thing. Keep this as a hardcore construction channel!
Makes me really happy to see Ray still coming in to help. I don't know if it's so he don't get bored or if it's so you can cover his pay, but it's nice to see.
I'm not sold on it. There was no mention of filling those nail holes, so how does that look? Sure, they are small, but you see them in wood, so you'll see them here. And no grout? It looks good from a distance, but up close, i suspect it'll look pretty chintzy. And over time, and people lean on those stones (normal wear N tear) i suspect they'll wiggle loose. Definitely not sold.
Dude, we're lurkers... mostly just watch videos and give a thumbs up. As a career mechanic, I LOVE y'all's attention on that Ford pickup! Gotta love an injected 300/6 and a manual transmission! Infinitely rebuildable!
I love this channel. I'm from the UK and you guys have really adhered me to not only to construction...but NC as well...I've even been following the panthers more closely this year! You're a credit to your trade and your state...good work gents
Heard some Dirty Heads playing in the background at 12:55 my ears perked up And I had to rewind. Love it! Saw them out in the pouring rain in Manteo in July. Great show despite the rain. Btw, growing up, my grandpa had an 84 F100 regular cab bench seat longbed with the 2 gas tanks. Almond metallic & Desert Tan (aka poop brown). I think my cousin’s step dad ended up buying that truck off my grandpa and still has it to this today.
Hey Ray, notice you are still using your walking stick on the wrong side!! You will finish up with a permanent Limp if you don’t change over ! Once you get the hang of putting your stick & injured foot forward at the same time you will notice a Big difference!! Your back will Thank you in the long run!! 👍🏼😊
As a design team there's nothing we like better than watching skilled laborers bang out beautiful work. While we vacillate between jealousy and amazement over the teams ability to exact a better than average standard, we stand utterly encouraged by the possibility of fun and hard work. For this ... after 31 episodes of watching this house go together, we subscribed. Keep doing great work and inspiring the rest of us.
I would agree to that! My favorite part about Jaime’s old for Strait six was the granny year… You could literally go two miles an hour straight up without A four-wheel-drive transfer box and low range. They should put that in all trucks
I’m thinking of doing my fireplace with stone to the top of the cathedral ceiling. Might need Jamie’s help at the top. Some kind of an angle 📐. I saw where ha had some kind of construdedanglewhatchamacallit thingy in his possession
0:49, so crazy. I had an 89 straight 6 with 4 speed crawler manual. I had some fun with it since 1st gear was for towing at 0-5 mph. Burp the gas and the whole front end would bounce. So much fun. Commence with the watching ❤️
That was a super macho move, using the concrete saw on hardie board😆👍 And then there's Jason with "It eats up screws like nobody's business!" This episode made me feel good.
Her go to a great stone resting place that Jamie find the stone for the chimney disguise. To this work is Jamie the special master, then he have the patience and is a punctilios person. A very good video, greeting 👌🇦🇹
Can you see where the nails went in, As always great video, I appreciate your “ how to “ detail, I have dyslexia and struggle with reading on how to do things, RUclips has been a great help in learning. Thanks
Looks very smart but I wondered about the mantle height: this is the second fireplace where you've put the mantle way high - doesn't seem in proportion with the chimney wall or the windows to either side. Is this aethetic/fashion, or to do with heat safety?
You got my vote if I get $20 dollars too lol Look great but I have a question What gauge are that gun is 16g or 18g thanks man and keep posting videos plis
Two questions. One how do you or what do you use to cover the nail holes in the stone? Two Jamie how is the hand holding up to your construction use of it? Any extra or unexpected wear and tear on it?
The nails don’t really show because they are so small and the stone has some small flecks of mica on the surface. It’s actually amazing how well they hide. And the hand is still doing great! Thanks for asking. I have replaced a few of the finger tips that have worn down from handing rough materials, but they are surprisingly durable and very easy to swap out.
@11:39. I'm going to have to side with Jamie on this one. I can't describe in words why that's the case though. Maybe it's the stair stepping on the top left? But it turned out incredible as always.

Yes!!!

@@idontthinkso666 I'm sure there's people out there yapping, but Erick and Jamie would not be those.

Jamie's side for the win!
I’m going with the left too [until that $20 bucks shows up at least]😉
@@harryl7946 wait, he paid you to?! 😂
Left side for the win
Erik’s stonework is definitely more pleasing to the eye
Ah Bologne! Jamie for sure!
Awww man, as soon as Jamie placed that third stone I heard myself involuntarily say, “that’s a beaute”
Jaime is the jig master! He has a jig for every purpose.
Did anyone else notice the ceremonial flypast during the Liquid IV sponsor message? Nice touch !
Damn, that right side of the fireplace has some really good looking stonework! Kudos to whomever put that up. Must be jason!
Found Jason's mom.
@@ihearttheconstitution3717 Yes, jason's mom are a good, dare i say GREAT looking young swedish man 😎
Now that is a type of stone I could install. I had never seen stonework that could be nailed to the wall, but it really created a nice-looking wall.

I want another one so I can teach my son to drive stick shift on it

Some stone masons I used to watch recommend that you swap sides half-way through so it "matches"...
That is interesting Idea Jacob.
Wow! Pro Tip!

Learn engineering from new dimension here💯🇺🇸
I must say, Jamie has excellent taste. Between his tools, his enjoyment for the finer things and his vehicle‘s… that’s my kind of man
😍💕🤗👍 I can place my fire box in a corner 👍 you showed me how🤗

I love watching your videos builds on houses
Man that truck is awesome my first truck was. 91 with the straight six and duel tanks I loved that truck!
I would agree to that! My favorite part about Jaime’s old for Strait six was the granny year… You could literally go two miles an hour straight up without A four-wheel-drive transfer box and low range. They should put that in all trucks
left side looks great!!!
Best part of this vlog was the announcement of a new house project coming. Meaning winter Perkins crew. Woot woot
Wednesday are terrific with a lunch time video!! Keep up the good work guys!!
Jamie's side rocks! I think it looks better to me. But both sides together make a great looking fireplace.
Nice work guys !! Thanks for showing NEW PRODUCTS as they become available !! I love the nail ability of the Evolve Faux Stones .....
I’m thinking of doing my fireplace with stone to the top of the cathedral ceiling. Might need Jamie’s help at the top. Some kind of an angle 📐. I saw where ha had some kind of construdedanglewhatchamacallit thingy in his possession
Would love to see some videos of the design process.
Right side looks best… for no particular reason…😉
Right side must be the side that signs the checks ;)
Money well spent
Looking good gents!
Love from the UK!
starts to locking good man, grate joob :)
Nicely done boys!
👍👍👍👍👍
Left side, 100% 👍
Love Jamie's energy when it comes to working that stone towards the end of the video!
Very professional great job UK
You should show the hvac system in one of these videos.
All I could think of is Bob Seger with the fireplace
Like a rock
Dang! Huge missed opportunity there. Should have thrown some Bob Seger in there

The results are glorious and always a delight watching these. Fun and informative. Well done gents.
Hey buddy thanks for watching
Love you're mad skills.... beautiful.,smile producing builds
that’s some high quality 🔥fireplaceing🔥 right there! great video!
Beautiful stone. Beautiful work.
Turned out nice.. finish nailing it in place good system
My first truck was a 95 f150 straight six 5 speed 4wd. It was a tank!
Yeah I love those things
Hermoso trabajo 💯💯💯💯saludos desde chile 🙏🙏🙏🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱
Muy buen trabajo ..prolijo...
I can't believe you nail that stuff. Looks so good. Thanks for a sharing.
That was a super macho move, using the concrete saw on hardie board😆👍

This episode made me feel good.
Really wish Evolve stone was here in the UK got a few projects coming up which I would love it for
Looks great and I agree, Jamie seems to be able to turn his hand (no punn intended) to anything 😎😎😎
It's looking really good
Yep nice stone work.
Both sides are terrific, look great.
Looks good, dudes! 👍
Gotta go with the right side. I agree with GrizzlyAaron, too stacked on the left toward the top.
I guess he loves that truck just as much as Jaime wants to love it!😄
You should show us the evolution of the design on the new house
Looks beautiful
Hah 1000th like!
Sure like that Evolve stone, it looks good and natural!
Right side definitely looks better. More variety.
guud peero tip (1st one) fellaz 👍🏼

Great work as usual guys. Love that stone wall.
looks great!
very good episode, well explained, well filmed, nicely done fellas!
Didn’t even know they came out with those types of wood stones thanks for the info and great work on that fireplace!
Gladdddd to hear the next project is in the works Erick! ‼️💯 can’t stop the grind!
SKI RESORT! (sorry, couldn’t resist)
Just placed an order for the liquid IV, will give it a go!
Can you see where the nails went in, As always great video, I appreciate your “ how to “ detail, I have dyslexia and struggle with reading on how to do things, RUclips has been a great help in learning. Thanks
looks fkn awesomeeeee, good job guys keep it up!!
Love the contents and very educational. Epic build boys.
Right side (sorry Jaime). Look forward to your Sunday/Thursday posts!
Where did you get the fireplace? Ok I got to get back to laboring..
I ordered it from efireplacestore.com. They’re really quick and getting their stuff out.
very nice bro, best wishes from Vietnam
Hey guys great job, and against my better judgement Eric your side looks way better
Looks very smart but I wondered about the mantle height: this is the second fireplace where you've put the mantle way high - doesn't seem in proportion with the chimney wall or the windows to either side. Is this aethetic/fashion, or to do with heat safety?
right side for sure, or maybe left
Good answer
10:48 "I have no idea what I'm doing, but I know I'm doing it really really well."
Andy Dwyer - Shoeshinist
I'll go with the top side looks best. 😉
Really nice!!
I prefer Jaime’s left side layout.
You got my vote if I get $20 dollars too lol
Look great but I have a question
What gauge are that gun is 16g or 18g thanks man and keep posting videos plis
Hey, this whole Bob Ross 'Happy Little Rocks' thing really belongs to Bill Alexander, the original. Get it together boys.
Two questions. One how do you or what do you use to cover the nail holes in the stone? Two Jamie how is the hand holding up to your construction use of it? Any extra or unexpected wear and tear on it?

Came out amazing! I just need the cost for evolve to come down allot.
Team Right Side
1/2 in of thicker stone would have been a day stopper for me lol
Yay!
I say you both win the rock laying competition! Everyone gets a trophy! Maybe my millennial is showing, though.
Jaime wins!
Jamie all the way x
Does Liquid IV help prevent certain people from taking tools from your tool belt?
It hasn’t been effective for that yet :-)
Stone work looks great! I think the only thing that I would've liked to have seen was some long skinny ones run vertical.
@11:39. I'm going to have to side with Jamie on this one. I can't describe in words why that's the case though. Maybe it's the stair stepping on the top left? But it turned out incredible as always.
Very nice. Like that fake stone 🤙
Please share what brand name of nails for stones you like using in the projects? Which nails would you recommend for concrete walls?
