You are doing a great job..! I am always excited when there is something new to incorporate into my journals. I have used a Ranger product called Glossy Accents to get a similar effect but it takes a good while to dry. I almost always manage to bump it or get a partial finger print on it. This looks safer..! Also, you've mentioned doing leaves and such that looked like a little clear charm with the item embedded into it. I'd love to see how that is done.
Aw thank you! So nervous to post this! I'm happy to do one for those as well, youll need the same Artmore resin, sun lamp, and then a sillicone mold (just in case you want to prep your stash 😉)
This is amazing. I’m so happy you shared. I can’t wait to try this out. Congratulations on your first video! I hope you are able to share many more. Love you!❤julie in Nola
Aw I'm so happy to contribute to the crafting and art community, I've learnt so much its time to repay! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 🩷
So I must have been hiding under a rock or something, didn’t know about resin. Something I will have to investigate. I like the idea and enjoyed your tutorial. Thank you.
Lol I thought that when I saw mica tiles being used 😆 too expensive for me to buy though, so I'm going to create an alternative! Thank you for taking the time to comment 🥰
Going to give this a try, it looks so lovely. I currently use glossy accents which is quite the price, and so slow drying. Cannot wait to try this! Thanks for sharing 😀
Yes! Once you have the bits and pieces (uv lamp etc) it's very cheap after that! And I like how thick and smooth the resin is 🤗 have fun! And thank you for watching 🥰
Aaw thank you, that means a lot as I am still very new to this! YAY I do this too... try and sprinkle a tiny bit of gold glitter (or any other colour) on before you cure the first layer of top coat and then put a second layer to embed it after... you know what I mean, as you do nails too... 😅❤
Good idea! Make sure to wear gloves, try not to have the gel polish/resin touch your skin too much, you could become allergic to those products and then you wouldn’t be able to use certain nail products! Licensed nail tech here😊
Thank you for showing this amazing technique! And I will definitely try it on labels to put in the label holders, it really looks like glass. May I ask what you used to apply the ink on the first label? Is it a make-up sponge?
