Gus' death wasn't the most shocking, but it's my favorite scene in the whole show and it may even be my favorite scene amongst any TV show ever. The way Walter baited Gus into a trap and the fact he convinced Hector to suicide bomb himself is just genius. Incredible writing by Vince Gilligan. Not to mention the way it was shot was perfect. Hector never looked Gus in the eye, then he finally does and his face goes from sad to pure anger. Then Hector starts ringing his bell and we notice the bell doesn't sound like it usually does. The camera slowly pans to the bomb that is connected to Hector's bell. I don't see how this scene could've been written any better.
Gus's final scream was also on point. Just realistic: the panic when you realize you are about to die. Gus, always chill and polite, that screams in complete panic for a second.
I really was specting Victor's death while I was watching that scene, but the way Gus killed him shocked me. My most impacting deaths: Krazy-8 (Walt intelligence and desesperation for revisiting the plate pieces) Combo (I wasn't specting anything like that) Jane: Jimi Hendrix style :( Gómez (the death of a character that comical and friendly) Hank (Well...)
Wow, I rarely disagree THIS strongly with a list. To me, "shocking" means both horrifying and (crucially) we didn't see it coming. What that in mind, here's what I think: Honorable mention: The two dudes Walt hit with his car - Completely out of the blue AND cold-blooded The inmates - The way it was done was amazing & horrific but we didn't really know them so it didn't feel quite as shocking Spooge - What. The Frick. If he'd been more than a very minor character this would rank high for me. Utterly shocking. 10 Hank - Super terrible, yes, but you said yourselves we saw it coming a mile away. 9 Gale - Also pretty predictable, but the way it happened was horrific. Poor Jesse. :-( 8 Krazy 8 - Shocking because it was the first time we saw what Walt was capable of but not as horrific as some others. 7 Jane - Soooooo sad (again: Poor Jesse...) but relatively low because it was less unexpected than others. 6 Andrea - Just as horrible as Jane (and even more, really, because she had a kid), but WAY more unexpected. 5 Combo - Who expected (esp. that early in the series) a grown man to be killed by a kid?! Horrifying! 4 Mike - Deeply sad AND entirely unexpected. 3 Victor - Complete surprise AND horrifying in terms of all that blood. 2 Gus (and Hector) - I mean, if I have to explain this one, you need to re-watch the series. :-) 1 Drew Sharp - By far the single most surprising AND most horrifying death of the entire series for me. Stupid Todd. Ugh. YMMV, obviously. :-)
I have all the deaths spoiled for me because i couldn t Help it and watch videos, the only deaths that i think that i haven t spoiled was that kid Todd shot, Andrea, Mike and Victor
Really? Unexpected? You couldn't guess her death from the photo that was sticked up on the wall? But yeah they should've included that in the list. I mean it teared jesse apart from the inside
For me it was shocking... some part of me and Iam sure for many people as well hoped that Hank will get out of this situation, But he doesn't so obviously the moment where Jack shoots Hank was really shocking to me
Out of all the deaths Hanks stuck with me the most. And now on my rewatch of the series it’s hitting even harder and I can’t stand Walter. For years I remembered the quote “Your the smartest man I know, but your too stupid to realize, he’s already made up his mind” it’s not word for word but that’s how I remember it. Crazy show and I love the characters were supposed to hate and hate those were supposed to love! I’ve never had this dynamic in a show before. This is really deserving of the “Greatest Show on TV” name it got. Fucking amazing and I can’t wait to start BCS & El Camino.
I think combo’s death should be ranked in the top 10. Jessie’s drug dealing operation was only 4 people. A small group of guys and one of them gets shot dead by A little kid. That death always hits me hard
Okay now I’m scared of my phone!! I decided to start Re Watching Breaking Bad this past week in order to get up to Better call Saul and now all of a sudden there’s nothing but old Breaking Bad videos that’s popping up on my timeline!! How does it know? I’m watching it on Netflix on my PS5 and yet everywhere there’s targeted videos for BB and I swear I have not even searched BB anywhere especially not on RUclips!! I hate this! There’s times where I legit talk to my wife about a subject and soon as I open my phone there’s a targeted ad relating to that subject. This is the future and I am terrified.
People may not like season 1 as much as the other seasons, but I’ve always found that i enjoyed it as much as the other seasons. Krazy 8 and Walt’s conversation before he died was one of my favorite scenes in the show, and Tuco beating the piss out of his guard guy will always be a classic scene in breaking bad. And I do I even have to mention the “This is not meth” scene....
Mother loving Gus’ death will always get to me. This guy to me was like the friggin’ terminator every time there was an attempt to on his life. When Gus came out of that room out after the explosion, I said: “WTF is it going to take to kill this guy?!” Saw his face destroyed then him die and said: “That was so awesome!!!”
The most emotional death for me personally, was the death of Gale. This scene is fantastic, these emotions were phenomenal. Heisenberg overplayed all of them and it was perfect
9:49 Walt doesn't whistle while dissolving Drew's body in acid, he whistles after telling Jesse (hurt by Drew's death) to go rest and that he was also saddened by Drew's death.
"Your boss is gonna NEED me" sounds like some definite last words to me. hey got along without him forever and since he joined them he is as much trouble as he is worth. No- they don't actually need him. In any case, Mike couldda kneecapped Walt just to get his mind back in order.

that made u realize the destruction that walter white brought
Did Hector's assistant also know about the setup and went along with the suicide bombing willingly?
I know how it could be written better. with you in the corner of the hospital. right next to gus.
I really was specting Victor's death while I was watching that scene, but the way Gus killed him shocked me.
My most impacting deaths:
Krazy-8 (Walt intelligence and desesperation for revisiting the plate pieces)
Combo (I wasn't specting anything like that)
Jane: Jimi Hendrix style :(
Gómez (the death of a character that comical and friendly)
Hank (Well...)
The prison inmates' deaths weren't shocking at all, they talked about it a lot before and said that it's going to happen.
0:42
True, but I was genuinely shocked by how violent they were
It's the most violent montage.
@@abramsullivan7764 Right, but they were scumbags who were going to rat, I’m not going to feel sorry for them. They got what they deserved.
Were they the guys that are in Better Call Saul in that big warehouse living there?
When i started watching this great tv show(6-7 years ago), i was like "eh..." till the scene at 2:20, after it, i just loved it and became a fan
@lygophile AND a smart one too
You have put Brock's mom on the list that scene was sad.
Damn she never deserved it . No second chance just a bullet through the head
Yeah.. poor Jessie man
Great Video! *Sad deaths*
“Stay out of my territory,”
Ooooo chills
Hank's death was the most shocking of all.😔
Just wait for Better Call Saul...
I'm currently rewatching breaking bad so all set for the movie
Roadhouse
G R H roadhouse
same here.
When Walt was letting jane die I kept screaming SAVE HER!!! at the screen
Can't wait for the movie
Keep on posting about it Watchmojo
I love you
Wow, I rarely disagree THIS strongly with a list. To me, "shocking" means both horrifying and (crucially) we didn't see it coming. What that in mind, here's what I think:
Honorable mention:
The two dudes Walt hit with his car - Completely out of the blue AND cold-blooded
The inmates - The way it was done was amazing & horrific but we didn't really know them so it didn't feel quite as shocking
Spooge - What. The Frick. If he'd been more than a very minor character this would rank high for me. Utterly shocking.
10 Hank - Super terrible, yes, but you said yourselves we saw it coming a mile away.
9 Gale - Also pretty predictable, but the way it happened was horrific. Poor Jesse. :-(
8 Krazy 8 - Shocking because it was the first time we saw what Walt was capable of but not as horrific as some others.
1 Drew Sharp - By far the single most surprising AND most horrifying death of the entire series for me. Stupid Todd. Ugh.
YMMV, obviously. :-)
"Guys how can we re-upload a slightly different version of the Top 10 Breaking Bad Moments video?"
Watchmojo in a nutshell
Wish I never had Hank’s death spoiled for me.
Same here. We should start a club
I have all the deaths spoiled for me because i couldn t Help it and watch videos, the only deaths that i think that i haven t spoiled was that kid Todd shot, Andrea, Mike and Victor
people sometimes forget that the same bomb that killed Gus also killed Hector Salamanca and Gus' henchman Tyrus
Walt wasn't whistling while he dissolved Drew's body, he was whistling while cooking meth.
You guys really didn’t put Andrea’s death on this list?
Lol you forgot Jessie's girlfriend the one who todd killed..That was the most sad and unexpected death..You could see that from Jessies face
Really?
Unexpected?
You couldn't guess her death from the photo that was sticked up on the wall?
But yeah they should've included that in the list. I mean it teared jesse apart from the inside
Best tv show of all time 😊😊😊😊😊
There was nothing unexpected, shocking, or gruesome about hanks death.
For me it was shocking... some part of me and Iam sure for many people as well hoped that Hank will get out of this situation, But he doesn't so obviously the moment where Jack shoots Hank was really shocking to me
It made me sad
It was pretty shocking for me because it’s when family actually got killed.
Hank's last act on this Earth was to show Walt how to take it like a man.
The one that was the saddest one was gale , I really feel bad for gale , he didn’t deserve to die like that 😭
Dude was a meth cook not a monk
Gale was so sweet, so innocent, that his death is heartbreaking
"what did Tom Hagen do for Michael Corleone"
"I'm not Michael Corleone"
"no, right now you're Fredo"
...

Personally, I think the deaths of the Salamanca brothers was pretty shocking.
Andrea’s death hurt the most
Okay now I’m scared of my phone!!
"This is not meth" -scene is The first scene that cross my mind when people talk BB. 😂
Seeing Jesse cry and scream when Todd killed Andrea really caught my tears
I can't watch the actor playing Gale in anything w/o thinking of him dancing & singing to "Major Tom."
Man I felt so bad for Gale getting killed, he was just so kind and didn’t harm anyone. Also felt bad for Jessie having to do it.
"Remind us why we love this sick show again."
Because it's amazing in every way?
Gales death took me by surprise and made me cry
Mother loving Gus’ death will always get to me. This guy to me was like the friggin’ terminator every time there was an attempt to on his life. When Gus came out of that room out after the explosion, I said: “WTF is it going to take to kill this guy?!” Saw his face destroyed then him die and said: “That was so awesome!!!”
I thought the same thing 😂
The most emotional death for me personally, was the death of Gale. This scene is fantastic, these emotions were phenomenal. Heisenberg overplayed all of them and it was perfect
Gomez was underrated! So unceremoniously dead and the most morally straight character on the show
I've never expected this late of a Breaking Bad video. But I also didn't know of a Breaking Bad movie was in the making.
You mean El Camino? Or they are making another movie?
I felt really bad for Ghale. He looked like a good person.
He made meth, they all cooked and sold meth. I'm sure some people thought probably Hitler was OK, besides Marge Schott.
My TOP 5:
N°1 Walter White
N°2 Gustavo 'Gus' Frings
N°3 Hank Schrader
N°4 Mike Ehrmantraut
N°5 Jane Margolis
Hanks death was one of the best scenes ever but sad too
9:49 Walt doesn't whistle while dissolving Drew's body in acid, he whistles after telling Jesse (hurt by Drew's death) to go rest and that he was also saddened by Drew's death.
Absolutely cannot wait for el Camino! Thank you for posting this video! Keep it up!
Recently just finished this series. Total masterpiece if you ask me. Can't wait for El Camino. Woooh!
All I’m saying is Huell better be in El Camino
JKL2000 the actor died
darrnell anderson Um...Lavell Crawford is alive and well
He won't
The most unexpected death for me was Andea, especially the way they did it with Jesse watching. I remember gasping in shock.
I can't believe you guys really left out Andrea!!!
Mike's death was so heartbreaking and Hanks was shocking
The movie is going to be incredible.
Dont count on it.
@@Boxingbear it was incredible so stfu
"Your boss is gonna NEED me" sounds like some definite last words to me. hey got along without him forever and since he joined them he is as much trouble as he is worth. No- they don't actually need him. In any case, Mike couldda kneecapped Walt just to get his mind back in order.
David Costabile is a great actor. He did Gale nicely aswell. Goodjob for him
list should be
10. Combo
9. 2 dealers in half measures
8. Victor
7. Max Arciniega (Gus's friend and original cook killed by Hector)
6. Don Eladio and the cartel
5. Andrea
4. Gus / Hector
3. Drew Sharpe
2. Mike
1. Hank
How some of these were just left off completely is just..
Dude Jesse was always my favorite character. Really excited to see what happens after the death of mr heisenberg
🎶Crystal Blue Persuasion 🎶 man, I always loved that song and was so glad it was prominently featured.
