This was a good song to hear his actual vocal skills. Most of their songs are very hard with heavy metal screaming. They formed in 1975, gained worldwide popularity in the 80's and are still performing today. One of their most famous pieces is Run To The Hills.

What an absolute treat of a video. This song always felt to me like an angelically inspired song, and then now listened to by an angelic looking girl. So meant to be.

Infinite Dreams is from SSOASS, which is a concept album. Basically all the songs on it , when put together, tell one big over-arching story. When reacting to Iron Maiden, live is the way to go (they are one of the best live bands ever). If you to react to more Maiden, I'd would suggest Fear of the Dark from the Flight 666 dvd, 2 Minutes to Midnight from En Vivo and Phantom of the Opera, live in Gothenburg, 2005.

I disagree with people saying only to react to the live versions from 2001 onwards, she will miss out on them at their best. Considering she just reacted to a studio version from the 80s and loved it. I think apart from Hallowed be thy name live, listening to the 80s tracks from the studio albums is a better way to hear them at their finest. It's easy for us Maiden fans as we have heard the albums, but when new I think the studio albums are best for new listeners(except for Hallower be they name, the 80s live version is better than the album version).

Cybergenic I agree with you 100%. People don’t consider how important it is to first hear the clean, clear, studio version at first. I love Maiden, I love them live, I still usually listen to the studio recordings as they just have such better sound quality (even though Maiden has super high quality live recordings).

Iron Maiden when this released just were not cool or trendy at all but whenever they released anything it blew up. I got this on single from woolies, I was like 12 or something.
Saw iron maiden at Donnington in the late 80s along with kiss, guns and Roses, (plus many more ) it was a great gig but unfortunately 2 fans died on that day wich will stay with me forever (god bless them ),

Since you like this, you may also really like the band Queensryche. The singer was actually a classically trained operatic vocalist. I would suggest you listen to their song Eyes Of A Stranger, but your list is long enough already. You would never be able to get to it! ✌🏻

I see you like to react to night wish, you should check out Within Temptation, Dutch band. Check out the songs Memories, What Have You Done Now, The Reckoning, Angel's, The Howling.
Do them always live and do their concerts from 2001 till today. Try Rock in Rio 2001, Flight 666and En Vivo.

If you wanna hear some more of Maiden also try some of their older songs such as The Trooper or Run to the Hills or obligate The Number of the Beast ;-))
When this record came out I was 13 and bought it wanting so much to like it but didn't. It was just not a heavy album for Maiden and too dramatic for my ears then. To top it off I still wanted to see them live, a friend and I bought tickets to the concert in the summer of 1988 and they cancelled the show on the very day

Maybe not their best but it's up there imo. So much better live than the studio verson. It wouldn't be an Iron Maiden show without it.
