2 things. 1st, I wish we could see a version of Gambit who goes to Professor Xavier to help with his powers instead of Mr. Sinister. 2nd, I'm curious if reality bending powers like those of Franklin Richards or Scarlett Witch would be able to work against New Sun Gambit. It would be interesting to see.
If someone had high level reality manipulation powers to the extent that they could completely control reality and everything in it around them in any way that they saw fit, they could potentially just use their powers to make it where either Gambit NEVER had powers and was a normal guy, or he was just never born, thus erasing him from existence. In that case you most likely would have to also have your own reality manipulation powers of at the very least the same or preferably of a higher level to counter/cancel out theirs and keep their powers from affecting you. Since Gambit can only affect/use kinetic energy, he is effectively more or less totally helpless against a foe who has reality manipulation powers, most especially on that high of a level.
Idk Wolverine seems to remain the same. Would've been cool if he had an ability where he could absorb different types of energy and it would flatout make him superhuman fast and stronger. Picture him moving at speeds of over mach 4 slicing anyone or anything he makes contact with 😅

Especially because of writers not getting familiar with the history of the actual power level of the way the character was supposed to actually perform. Iceman is a perfect example of this. At first he could freeze something about the size of a house all at once.. Then he started to be able to freeze a building, next he was able to freeze a city. It's a problem because it makes stories too boring because heroes can just blast their enemies to hell and that's the end of the issue.

Unfortunately Toriyama was too afraid of the fan backlash if he dropped Goku, so now we're left with an uninteresting rehash over & over of Goku & Vegeta's rivalry. So instead of getting a cool fleshed out anime following the life of Gohan from highschool student superhero to husband & Dad, we get Goku & Vegeta endlessly training for tournaments and rehashed rivalry over 25 years. 😂
