I'm sorry. @Anthony To remove the strip, Yeah that's where we were. You have to remove the interior door trim (five screws) to get to the strip. After that take the window frame off (4 or 5 t45 bolts). After that you can get to the strip. Good luck changing it out.
LOL Yes 20 Bucks. The wife found a guy who was parting out a B5. We got the front and rear bumper, a set of rims,, and the Infamous Trunk Triangle. We were packing up and he said I could have it for 20 bucks. For what we had spent already that was crumbs. I didn't realize that it was an APR until I got home. I think that I am going to work on Straight Piping it in the near future.

I recently had a similar thing happen when I bought some replica BBS RC336 wheels for £130 ($175) with pretty decent Eagle F1.. got home, cleaned them up and turns out they’re legit lol. That one chrome strip is a 2.8 or s4 door. I have not been able to find a way to get it off.
Yes, I found someone parting out there S4 which was a perfect color match. I never changed it out 😆
