I want to sell mine, but I don't know if I ever be able to afford one again! I got mine rust free! It just needs a bumper ,tailgate ,slave cylinder and a leaf Spring..😃
I just let mine sit in driveway and when my 02 breaks I drive it lol. Sell it and you'll be sorry. People want stupid money for them and it's only going to get worse.
Yea, around here we referred to them as Alcoa’s. Semis had similar wheels and they were Alcoa’s, hence why we called them that. If you have a F350 it’ll fit 35s stock. Just move the front bumper out 1” and you’re in business. I’ve had 3 of that vintage. A 97 XL standard cab I bought brand new and 2 96 XLT crew cabs, all 7.3s and the last one was a 5spd. You can also level it pretty cheaply too, it’s just an add a leaf. If yours is a stick make sure to ditch the 2pc flywheel, it’s a problem waiting to happen and an expensive one at that
They're not just "referred to" as Alcoas -- Alcoa was the manufacturer of these wheels. If you try to purchase these wheels new today (as opposed to finding ones on the used market), you'll buy them from Alcoa if they're genuine. They're 16x7 with an 8 on 6.5 bolt pattern. Because of how narrow the wheels are, it's ill-advised to put much larger than 285's on them.
I don’t have Facebook didn’t seem to leave any other way to contact you. I do have a 1997 F250 super cab 8 foot bed with 200,000. I ordered the truck and I’m considering on selling it. If you had some contact information that would be good.
The diesel models had a slightly higher stance because Ford added more suspension leaves (Leaf spring suspension) to aid the truck for the heavier engine compared to the 5.8/7.5 gas motors
@@evanburdick8503 all I've ever encountered as a mechanic have the 2 flat leafs in the front on the ft250hd. Usually sagging the wrong way lol 😆 my 97 came to me with a 4 inch all leaf lift. Rides like a buck board wagon lol
@@hamradiohack That's so bizarre. I'll have to check when I get home but I'm almost certain my 1997 F250HD had 4 leaves each side on front and 8 in the rear. And like you said, on the regular F250 (Gasser) has 2 each side. Like I said, I'll look, might just be Mandela effect lol
Sure hope so! I just bought a 1995 F250 7.3 PowerStroke. One owner, 168,000 miles and some change. Old farmer's truck. It's beautiful.
Look into Cenpeco diesel fuel addative.
How much did it cost you?
Have the 1999 F350, 4 door 8 foot bed Automatic, 7.3 3.73 rear end. It will run forever if you take care of it, Mine will out last me
93 f250 4x4 xl 7.3 idi non turbo. love this truck, what a power horse. 131,000 original miles.
FYI ,at 399,0000 it won't go to 400,000 it can't ,it will go back to 300,000, That's why you never see one with more than 400! Cheers.
I have a 2002 F-250 with 306,000 miles will my odometer go to 400k
@@kilogramer if it's digital yes
You are correct. When my 95 f350 crew cab power stroke 4x4 was changing to 400k it did exactly what you mentioned.
Does it not roll over to 0?
@@ToolTosser The 3 stays, and all rest at zero. There is a utoobz vid on it somewhere. The Digital parts were never made with a 4!
Great looking truck, in my opinion the tail lights ruin it. Keep them OG but just replace them with LED bulbs

Just remember, the day after you sell your pickup, you'll need it. Especially a OBS Powerstroke.
It's better to have it and not need it then it is to need it and not have it
Are those stock rims? I’m new to ford trucks usually a Chevy guy but I picked up a 97 powerstroke recently

Who mounted those side view mirrors?
No rust? You might look twice at that bed.
I’m looking forward in getting one of these I’ll just go automatic
Stick is the only way to go.
Ok I change my mind Manuel is better
That's a nice dang truck
Still available
How is the 351 windsor compared to the 7.3 powerstroke OBS truck?
I’ve had both, personally prefer a 7.3 but I also tow quite a bit. A 351 is a great engine and a lot of fun to drive. But 7.3 all day long
That's like comparing Trump to biden.
Is it over hyped? No more so than the 12 Valve first Gen dodges
Mint!

But is it clean?
