    wait i love your vibe like youre so interactive with your viewers. also, i love that you didnt try to "disguise" this as beginner friendly. im an advanced crocheter (around 4 years of consistency) honestly, theres always so much to learn. im gonna make this for my cousin tomorrow. youre one of my new favorites!!!!

    THIS IS SO CUTEEE HOW MUCH YARN IS NEEDED FOR THIS???

    • @kladuong
      @kladuong  Месяц назад +1

      hi! Thank you so much, the yardage needed is dependent on how big your waist size is! I believe this is around 24” and I used a little over 800 yards of weight 4 yarn.

      hi! everytime I have made this skirt I have had dedicated free time to do it. I believe in this video the skirt took me a little under 10 hours - but that included filming as well. I hope you can make it for Halloween!

    Hi there! Quick question. If I want to make it longer do I just repeat?

    • @kladuong
      @kladuong  4 дня назад +1

      sorry for the late response. if you want to make it longer you just repeat each process. I would be mindful about how much you increase in each ruffle section or else the skirt will be really poofy and take a long time to do one row. to mitigate this, as you move further down make your mesh stitch (that goes underneath the previous ruffle panel) skip more stitches in between. i.e instead of skipping one stitch and doing a double crochet, skip two, three, four, or however many is needed. in the following row of the mesh stitch only insert one stitch into the chain space, not how many stitches you skipped. hopefully this clear, let me know if you need any help!

    I’m sorry but I got a little lost at 10:22 I’m supposed to do 4 normal double crochet and after this 1 row with increasing? But other then that I love this tutorial ❤❤

    • @kladuong
      @kladuong  4 дня назад

      hi sorry for the late response! but yes, you can essentially increase anywhere between each ruffle panel, but only increasing once per each ruffle panel.

    Hello, I can't really understand why you used two different hooks. Can I use just one instead?

    • @kladuong
      @kladuong  13 дней назад +1

      hi! You totally can use the same hook. The two hooks sizes are just to create the tight waistband, hope this helps.

      thank you so much!
      I was definitely unsure about the music but I will keep that in mind.
      Yarn usage wise it is dependent on the size of your waist because it is a made to measure size! For my piece I used about 900yds.

    • @sofiarubalcava623

      I just repeated steps like repeated tier two twice to make it longer

    • @kladuong
      @kladuong  Месяц назад +1

      thank you for responding! That is exactly what I would do. Though I would be careful about adding too many increases as you go down or it will become extremely puffy.

      I think you should add a couple more of the regular dc rounds after the ruffles to make each tier longer without increasing
