@@ItaliRomer-jg6bx hi!! There are so many ways you can make it multicolored by just switching out the yarn. The ruffles are pretty simple by just attaching on a different color. If you want to do a split color look down the middle, I would divide the original stitch count by 2 before you start your work (the body and increases) , and at the halfway point color change back and forth each time! Was there another way you wanted to do the color work?
Aaa i love these so much !! Thankyou for the tutorial- ive just finishwd the first leg and for some reason its really loose at the back, is there anyway to fix this ?
hi! Thank you, I am unsure what you mean by loose, if you added too many increases it could cause this. I would recommend trying on as you increase to recieve the desire fit you want I.e loose vs tight fitting shorts. Hope this helps!
hi! The way the tutorial is structured, I have designated the amount of rows based on the measurements. I typically do all my increase rows at the beginning all at once. If you want to evenly space them I would measure the belly to crotch i.e 10 inches, and if you do one row and it measures 1 inch then you would do 10 rows. If you are talking about the rows around, the amount of rows around equates to the # of rows you did for the waistband, this is measured by your specific measurement when you try it on/ hold it up to yourself. With that amount of rows, you would divide it by two and that number is where you would place your stitch marker. One at the beginning and one at the number you calculated.
Would it be possible to continue the shorts the position you had them at 13:24? Or is that wrong? To me they look like cute little hoochie shorts that way
@@mehrnazrezaei7733 when you say slip stitches from the previous round I’m assuming the stitches you chained to split the legs, if so you Hdc into them!
@@kladuongwhen you say to slip stitch twice right at the start of the second leg. Not the chain. Do we hdc into the 2 slip stitches (the 2 slip stitches u say to do at either end of the crotch)
Love this!! Quick question though, for making the increases I’m confused on the part where you turn when you reach the stitch marker. Do I make the increase at the stitch marker then keep going around to the other one and then make another increase then turn? I hope that made sense 😅
hi! I think you are correct! You should increase twice in each row. Once at the stitch marker and at the end of the round. Even though you turn your work keeping the second increase and the end instead of alternating end-beg-end-etc…. will ensure that the increases are straight! Hope this helps
On the first row you did the increase for the first stitch marker at the beginning, but for the second row you did the increase at the end, so do I do the increase for the first stitch marker at the end of every row or does it alternate ? Sorry I’m not sure if that makes sense xx
hi! For clarification it doesn’t matter if you increase at the beginning or the end. I alternate increasing because when I turn my work at every row the increase moves from the beginning to the end because I’m starting to go the opposite way from the initial increase.
I love this and have been following it but I just wanted to clarify something At 19:55 where you start the double crochet for the leg ruffles is it in the back loop or both front and back loop?
HI! For the body and first row of Double Crochets, So is it On first marker: 3 Double Crochets in back loop of same stitch (because Double crochet, then Increase) and then Double Crochet all throughout until Next Marker? Orrr On first marker: 3 Double Crochets in back loop of same stitch (because Double crochet, then Increase) and then Increase Double Crochet (2 Double Crochet's in same stitch) ?
Hi! Love your tutorial! How many cm is the part of 13 rows in HDC? Tysm and why my starting point (where i do slip stich and then ch 1 is continuing moving further? It s not on the third hdc of increasing anymore!) sorry and tysm
hi, sorry for the late response. the inseam is around 9 inches for me! Your chain 1 and slip stitch starting to move diagonally may be because you are not turning your work or most likely to be because when you are increasing you increase at the same side. When you end your row, doing the increases at the end and turning your work and doing the increases on the second row would also be at the end. So, if you didn’t turn your work this layout would make the increases technically be alternating one row at the beginning and the end (IF you didn’t turn your work.) the alternating increases evens out the slip-stitch so it does not become crooked. Just make sure you are always doing the increases at the end after you turn your work.
Hii!! I have a question, if my increases go not straight and they deviate from the place where the stitches are connected am I doing them right? Or did I do something wrong? Btw I love this tutorial 💕
hi! It doesn’t mean you did anything wrong and you could still continue with the pattern with no issues! If it bothers you, I would just be thoughtful about placing your increases in the second increase stitch from the previous row because you do 3 stitches in one stitch for the inc. Hope this helps
@@ShanteeLovesDuane if you’re talking about the ruffled double crochets, I go around each leg separately! I’m a little unsure of what you are asking, but if you mean the for the body, you continue the the stitches around the legs so that you have enough length covering the crotch. Hopefully that helps!
I had a hard time following along with certain parts because of the fact that you were telling us what youre doing after already doing it if that makes sense. For example, after the waistband (when we start double crocheting with the 5mm hook) im crocheting along and well onto multiple rows before you show us how you were closing off with slip stich not to have gaps. Same thing with the increases. I found out you stopped increasing two rows before the crotch area after ive already done all the work. Although I appreciate the video this made it a bit difficut to follow along to. ❤
hi thank you so much for your feedback! I totally agree and this is something I will consider when I am making my future tutorials. I still hope you were able to make the shorts okay💗
@@LinaTouati-j1c yes!! Just keep extending the rows as long as you want. I would also be mindful of adding increases around the leg parts especially if you have larger thighs/legs, you can do this by dividing the number of stitches on leg by 2, increasing at those two points. Hope this helps!💗
im confused. do you only do 3 half doubles in only the stitch marker place and then everywhere else around the waistband 1 half double in each black loop? please
Hii im a little confused!!! So when you made the first row of the half double crochet all the way to the starting point how do I complete it because if I conect it then flip I immediately do the hakf double crochet increase is that correct?
@@paulinasolis915 Yes! You can do the increase right when you turn your work or at the very end before you join the round, just keep it consistent everytime💗💗
hii! im so confused so are we always increasing for both the stitch markers or just one? and its three in the back loops only for both the stitch markers? Also, thank you for the tutorial! 🫶🏽
I increased it at both! To put it easily, you would theoretically increase at the hips so it is large enough to fit over, so you know that you will have two increase points. And yes, it is 3 stitches in the BL, you will then move your increase marker into the second stitch for the next round of increases so it’s even!
