I really appreciate these videos. There's a moment when you're adding detail to a feature and it just comes alive. That's what I'm trying to learn how to do.
1. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. It opened my mind to how any kind of wood is possible to draw. 2. ❤️❤️❤️🖤🖤. Result is fantastic and technique is very simple. Really useful and common on maps and adventures. 3. ❤️❤️❤️🖤🖤. Good to fill maps with side quests. Simple shapes. The grounded effect always looking good 4. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Even better with colors! Can't wait until use it someday. 5. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Limitless applications on adventures. Love how tilted the mountains are and the visual effect it provides.
Thank you Howard, that’s really kind if you. I’m hoping things will grow but there’s a joy in being small, in that I get comments like this that make my day! Thanks for your support 😊
I've only just discovered your channel, and this is the second video I'm watching. I've literally never commented on any video before but you made my day when your volcano sketch referenced my favourite film of all time ;). I might have to draw some steamer trunks floating out in one of my seas...
This was great. I'd love to see more of such versatile elements that can help us add more details and variety on the map. And thanks for all the other videos focusing on specific elements (trees, mountains, beach...).
Hi Owen! I've just come across your channel and have almost finished binge watching all your videos! I still really *really* suck at mountains but your videos have really helped! Can't wait to see myself improve on my fantasy maps!! Thank you for helping us newbies out :)
Hi, I’m not sure how I never replied to this! I’m so sorry for the slow response, you must have caught me when I was hiding from RUclips a bit. Anyway, thank you so much, how is your map drawing coming along now?
This is fascinating. Last week, I was looking for my father's bookshelf, and then I never seen the old book before. It's Master of the Five Magics Novel by Lyndon Hardy. I'm surprised map in the novel. It say "Demontooth Tower" as map!
Just discovered your channel. Thanks. By references, do you mean like ST:TOS City On The Edge Of Forever? Thanks for your drawing tips. As a non-artist I am always amazed how other people can “see” things better than me.
I have an idea for a video. As a mapmaker, I want to make maps digitally. Can you make a map tutorial using ibis paint. Because I don't have an iPad to draw in procreate.
Love the mimic hill! What a cool idea and it looks great!
Thank you! I kinda like that one too :)

Thanks Adriano! That's great feedback, thanks for your continued support on the channel :)
I just discovered this channel and I think I've never subscribed faster. Amazing tutorials, I love your style and your maps, great job!

The Mushroom wood is something I would love to use!
You had me At the Mushroom Wood. It, the stone circle, then the volcano are things I can see myself using
Hahah, the Mushroom Wood is my favourite too! Thanks very much :)
These are all top tier! Just started map making and these gave a lot of great inspiration, thank you!
Thank you so much, I'd love to see what you come up with. Will you post any online?

I really enjoy your video by the way !
Great idea, I'll add this to the list! There is this video, but it doesn't encompass all you mentioned ruclips.net/video/Zvu7L9FxaOs/видео.html

I’ve not read that one, is it good?

It's a toss up between the Mimic Hill & Guardian of Forever (nice Star Trek reference BTW)
Your tutorials are very helpful! I love them
Thank you so much! Sorry for my late reply, I have been travelling around. Have a great day
omg just found these but they are great!
Can’t pick, but it’s between the Portal and the Mimic Hill! 🤩
Very cool ideas!
Thank you!

WOW 🥰
Hello there, i hope you still good. Maybe you can make another video like this, with more features. Best regards.
Good shout, I will certainly try!
Awsome
Love the mimic hill, however... what grinds my gears is that it wasn't named a "Mouthtain".

Hi Alfred, thanks for the comment. I've not used ibis paint, but I will look into it and see if I can figure it out!
Thank you!!!!@@MapsbyOwen
