Fall of Ideals and Shogun are pretty much responsible for my journey into the heavier side of music. I still listen to them both regularly.

classic metalcore 🤘 this album is legendary
The intro sounds kinda like Torn between skylla and Caribdis by Trivium.
This aint the heaviest but its a classic and oli's guitar playing was absolutely amazing there will never be another guitar who can swap between heavy distortion to harmony as seemless has he did.
For sure one of the first 20 metalcore songs that ever graced my ears. Phil and the entire band are definitely a huge reason I still love this genre today 13 years later \m/
I met Phil in DC a few months ago. Super cool dude, gave me some pointers on screaming.
When I saw them live opening for Disturbed, the female bassists she was doing some screaming as well
