Hey mate. Not sure if you check comments on old videos. I have a quick question: I am going to paint the exterior of my brick house. Do you recommend buying a bare knuckle sprayer that you did a review on? Or would you recommend hiring a bigger sprayer? If I went down the DIY sprayer version I would be using to paint other things like my fence, bedroom etc. But in terms of painting my whole house what would you recommend? Thanks. Love the videos.
Hi Billy, sorry for the late reply! Cheers fir watching. I would probably recommend something more like the Graco 190pc investing in something that could last a lifetime if looked after and no problem spraying everything you need. Depending on how much you will use it hiring could almost cost the same amount as buying. Hope this helps mate. Respect 🙏
Cheers. I'm not to sure where you are located, just a good quality washable water based exterior paint would do. I use @dulux weathershield on all my exterior works🤙
Cheers Josh, I'm in Sydney - northwestern suburbs. I enjoy watching your vids mate. Always been intrigued about the whole paint vs stain discussion in regards to bricks. Does the dulux peel off in time at all? Cheers bro.
I’m an older German guy (60) who lived 14 years in Canada. Moved to Panama and built a house myself. After a work related accident, I have problems with both of my shoulders and left hand. As I started my construction, I worried about the paint jobs, inside & outside. Now I see this airless paint sprayers and think that this would be much easier to use than rolling. And don’t say: Hire some locals. They do - sorry to say - a real horrible job here in Panama. I see this every day. I’m not a professional builder (it’s my second house I am building) But when locals who bought a lot in my area, approach me and asking if I could build their house, it says it all. Even the owner of the development company who sold the lots (he is also in construction) asked me: How do you get the walls so straight and nice? I actually didn’t know what to say. Anyway. Nice video. The brick wall is a good example of how good a paint sprayer is compared to a paint roller. I think I have to buy me a paint sprayer too now.
Do you take on much exterior spraying work? Do you treat the surface before spraying or do you just tape up and start spraying? I am based in the U.K. and have only ever used my sprayer for interior work
Painting a brick house is ALWAYS a BIG MISTAKE! The beauty of bare brick is the many decades of maintenance-free service. Yes, I know it's cool and trendy, but it's a huge dis-service in the long run. The current or future owners will have to scrape and repaint and as the coats of paint accumulate the shorter the life of the paint. Eventually, ALL the paint needs to be sandblasted or removed with paint stripper. And then probably the mortar joints repaired (tuck pointing). So PLEASE just spare the home and future owners of this horrible fad!
Its a doctor's surgery and it had to look clinically clean and be able to clean. I primed the bricks and then two top coats with a back roll. the paint will never flake or peel and will last a lot longer than we ever will. I have been painting bricks for over twenty years this ain't no fad
What type of paint did you use? Is this latex? Thx!
@@LemonCarotte hi, yes this was Dulux wash&wear interior waterbased low-sheen 🙌
Hey Josh, your work is not just professional, also very relaxing to watch ... Please tell me what is the music in this video ?
Thank you! Appreciate that. Honestly I can't remember what the song is. 🤦♂️

Nice one! Any tips on which paint to use for exterior brick walls/house facade?

Do you think back brushing or backrolling is better when using a concrete stain on exterior brick?
Hi mate. It really comes down to the finish you want to achieve 💯
Do you take on much exterior spraying work?
Do you treat the surface before spraying or do you just tape up and start spraying?
I am based in the U.K. and have only ever used my sprayer for interior work
I do a lot of interior & exterior work mostly sprayed. Treat the brick work? There is nothing to do with bare bricks tape up and spray 💯🙏🤙
mate, good job. have you ever tried lime paint on brick? bauwerk out of perth sell them. i have been thinking of using that
What is that little pivot spray guard called?
This is called a Graco CleanShot Shut-Off Valve! It helps with the spitting when you're running a tip extension
Did you spray the primer too? Would you recommend a latex primer or would a standard undercoat suffice?
I sprayed primer coat. I used a waterbased undercoat 🤙
Hi Josh, like your videos, do we need primer for exterior brick wall, or just weather shield?
Hi there. No you should be sweet to go straight over with weathershield. Just give it three coats👍
Wow this is awesome. Did you manage to get it finished in one coat?
This was a three coat system. One coat is never efficient 💯🙏
Do you spray twice and then use roller for the last coat?
Yes that's correct 🙏
How long should we wait to apply second & third coat on?
Hello, soon as its touch dry your right to go. It was bare bricks so it soaked it up pretty quick 👍🙏
What tip size did you use to spray paint the brick ?
Sorry for the late reply, on this on it was a FFLP410
Amazing,👍🔔🙏🙏 beautiful 👍🔔🙏👣
Thank you. Appreciate it 🙏
Hey man, what is the song called in this clip?
Hey man! Alina Baraz - Fantasy (COFRESI Remix), check it out on Soundcloud!
Oh god damm!
Respect brother 💯🙏🤙
Are you using a narrow tip to limit overspray or something?
Hey mate just wanted to get right in to the mortar joints and not so much over spray 🙏🤙
Nyimak,like + paket full.
Salkomsel.
nice spray porn guys loved that one
Respect 💯🙏
Looks like your new
