This is what I wanted to see ... how you did the sides of each picket ... spraying at an angle to get one side and then at an angle from the other side.

How do you clean the paint out of the sprayer hoses and the gun itself once your done? Fire some acetone through the rig? Thanks in advance!
This is a water based product so exactly what you said but water instead🙏🤙

I have to come up with a makeshift wall structure that I can slide along the fence on the other side. Because painting in the city means houses are right on the other side. I'm probably going to use 2x4's and attach a drop cloth and just slide it right along as I go.
I stain fences in Kansas City and this is what I do.

Josh, with Dulux on a wooden like this do you use VW semi-gloss or Gloss , I m tempted to go gloss on mine.Thank you
Hi Damien, I usually go with a semi-gloss all depending on the clients wishes. A full gloss will have a little better washability. Hope this helps mate. 🍻
great work ... listen would the graco 190 or 390 be as good for that job ,, or the 595 far superior ?
Thanks for posting the video, some good tips in there. I've got to do a new fence at home shortly. It's rough sawn, would you smooth it out a bit or just slam on lots of paint? Also how long would you wait to paint new timber, cheers bro.

Would a 60cm extension be better than a 30cm for odd jobs around the house? Pros cons etc?
what about all the overspray?? Over the fence and thru the fence?? What did you do behind the fence to keep from ruining the neighbors property?

So I stained my fence with a latex stain only (no sealer combined). I went to try and put Thompson's water seal over it. I don't know if it's because I poured it in with the last of the stain in the bottom of the bucket (before i realized it was oil based!) It sprayed out sightly pink foam in places at first, then just milky drippy white on ANY areas with knots or imperfect wood.... Kind of ruined the beautiful redwood stain. Stopped after 2 panels. Help! Do I switch to a water based sealer or does it need a sealer? Live in Florida....
Is that pressure not a bit too high for a fflp tip? I thought they where supposed to spray at a much lower pressure than that?
What ever work for you the paint your using the machine, climate so many different factors that can change your running pressures from day to day 💯

What about the other side of the fence? Does the paint not get on the neighbours side?
This is the outside of there fence so the inside is there back yard and it's protected?

Hi I’m painting my fence a different colour from my neighbours and we share a fence. Would I be better off using a brush so I don’t get my colour on his side and don’t get any spray in his garden
Hi Kerry. Depending if you want the inside of the pickets your colour or his. If you are painting the face and the two sides I would spray and cover the back of the fence for over spray if you are only painting the face I would just roll. Hope this helps and makes sense 🙏

Great video - subbed. Any thoughts on using an airless sprayer for a chain link fence? House I purchased has an outdated chain link in the black that I'd love to turn black. Appreciate any insight!
Thank you! you will lose a lot of paint through overspray. I would go for a dry roller and cut the post with a brush. hope this helps
