- Let's all be honest; there's only one favourite for this Sunday's edition of the men's 2022 Paris-Roubaix. You know who I mean, the man, the myth, the living legend, Mathieu van der Poel.
After a spectacular Tour of Flanders win two weeks ago and being fresh by only starting his season in style at Milan Sanremo, the Alpecin-Fenix rider is the man everyone will be watching this weekend. But he's keeping a very low profile ahead of the race. Luckily though, with a bit of nagging, his bike isn't.
We managed to get an exclusive look at the bike he will hopefully be piloting to victory come Sunday.
If you want to know what he'll be bashing (in style) over those hallowed cobbles, then click the play button.
And don't you worry, there are loads more Roubaix tech to come. We're only getting started, and what a bike to begin with. - Спорт
two years later .... he wins twice with this AERO BIKE .... what a monster!!
didn't colbrelli win on merida reacto their aero bike?
Yep, he did
I did say o he best of my memory ;) -Dave
@@VeloVeloVeloTV to me it just sounds like misinformation... Colbrelli won the race on the new Reacto 6 months ago 😅
Thank god for the subtitles
You gotta love Shoddy - managed to butcher riders’s names, even when it’s written in the bike he’s reviewing (see Gaudu video) 🤣
vandenpoel
Also,
- Its the CF-R not CF-F
- Sony Colbrelli won LAST YEAR on an aeroroad bike (Reacto Team).
- Checks seat stay clearance when chain stays are typically the problem.
We missed you Shoddy! Welcome back
Jesus even standing still it looks fair FAST 😮😍
🤣🤣🤣 Van Den Poel riding the Aeroad CFF 🤣🤣🤣
I need to ask: what specific part of Great Britain did you acquire your accent? It's very different from anything I've heard before.
I grew up in the Lake District, but my parents are from London. So it's a little muddled.
Ah yes, good ole Van Den Poel 🥴
It's cfr wow very nice bike.
I wouldn't want to do none of those climbs of the tour with that ratio that's for sure, mind you I bet he was more watts in his little toe than I have.
Can Dave commentate the race too? He's fantastic.
Hello Paul could let me know what is the smallest canyon bike they make I am 5 ft tall thanks.
What was the name of those bottle cages again?
9100 rotors? 140 front and back must be a Mvdp only -not seen anyone else go smaller than 160 front. Winning bike for sure.
I wish you check the saddle height, stem length and bar width. Anyway thank you for video.
Next time I'll bring along the tape measure and scales - dave
Stem length 130mm, width 410mm and the handlebar reach is 72mm I believe? He is actually not particular slammed nor does he use a long stem for a pro but this allows him to ride in the most aerodynamic position possible (besides puppy paws which is banned). Elbows at 90 degrees on hoods.
What chainrings are those that they fitted to the Dura Ace arms???
54/40
Did they fix that issue (seat tube rubbing with frame)?
0:15
My bad, I would say this is the way they try to fix for it. I dont know its fix or not
What’s with the non series chainrings?
@skubisan ye but there not the Dura ace 9200 chainrings
He’s six feet tall .. there is not a lot of seat post showing compared to most .. is this actually his bike? He must have really short legs if so me thinks.
pari robi. thats what i heard
So this is the bike that did not win? Thank you 😂😂
When size 54 cm will be available?
You'll have to ask canyon, sorry- Dave
a man that comes from cx sure comfort isn't his first thing in mind just because of some coubles
Lmao... they're not even trying with the tire stickers.
Where is information about handlebar? 38?40? >>100?130?
120/390
Van den Poel? CFF?
@@318ishonk 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Has anyone noticed anything new about that frame, or is it still the same frame from 2020? and for year 22 no innovation? :-(
172,5 cranks on a road bike... So, what cranks is Mathieu using on his mountain bike? 175's?
Always wondered why him and WVA use 17.5 despite all “shorter is smoother” claims
Value for money 200 miles in one month
What’s the stem length of that bike?
120mm
its called CFR not CFF
it's a POS canyon, who cares
No measurements…
The bike with more design flaws and flaws than a Russian warship!!
Why would you say that ?
