About the sewing machine. I would recommend you keep the Pfaff. Now pfaffs are made by Singer and they aren't as great as they used to be. Love the one you have. Also, love your commentary.
Loved your episode. I've just finished making all the blocks and laying out the arrangement for my star blooms quilt. Thanks for showing it on your channel so I could find it too!
HI! I truly loved this video. I have loved all that I have seen you do in the past couple of days. Just found your channel a couple of days ago. I love your personality. You seem so personable and joyful; and you are stunningly gorgeous!!! I have only been quilting about 2 years or so, and I am totally addicted. I have several quilts in the making; seems I am always seeing one that I think I need to start before finishing. I am the same way with cross stitching. LOL I am exactly like you in that I am a type A personality and I like everything neat. I will meticulously trim fraying threads off of the quilt pieces as I am stitching them. How crazy is that. I have a 35+ year old Bernina that I absolutely love. It is an 1130 and is a true workhorse. I also recently bought a used Husqvarna Viking embroidery/sewing machine but have not learned it yet. Must get to that soon! I love crafting and especially love crumb piecing. I am into making zippered pouches at the moment as gifts. Keep sharing with us and thank you for that! ❤️
You have made my week, Judy, thank you so much for your kind words! I am beyond grateful for this wonderful hobby and for the opportunity to connect with fellow quilters. That's amazing about your Bernina! What a treasure. You'll have to let me know how you like your Husqvarna Viking; I've heard from so many how wonderful they are! Thank you for your sweet comment and for watching my videos 💜
I've enjoyed all your videos & formats! Wouldn't mind another flosstube ( I bought the MFE 2021 SAL pattern after seeing your video). Also, an "extras" video about Gumbo would be adorable.
Oh I'm so happy my video inspired you! I'd love to make another one soon, but to be honest, I haven't made much progress on my projects since my last video. One day! Love your idea about a Gumbo video :)
I adore all 3 of my Juki machines. I use them all. 1 tl for everyday, 1 tl set up for mock sitdown fmq, and a dx2000qvp for special stitches. ( its crazy good on curves)My daughters like the bells and whistles of the dx but me, give me the purr and power of my tl-2000qi!
You are living the dream! I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say they didn’t absolutely love their Juki. Definitely a purchase I’ll be making in the future!
I was guessing you did pageants or something because you have such awesome public speaking skills- I felt so validated when you said you had TV/news experience! YT is totally your platform!!
Old iron single straight stitch machines --> they only do one thing and do it exceptionally well, historically. Class 66, 15, 221... and many post-war Japanese rebranded Class 15s, which often have many different stitches.... One can have a stable full of very pretty yet strong older iron machines for the cost of one new almost anything. Can you tell i feel strongly? ;-) Just saying please investigate and maybe make an old friend you didnt know you needed, and save green. Love your new channel!
If I buy a quilt kit (rare) I always buy the boo-boo bundle! Mainly cuz I never start the thing right away and the fabric collection has gone extinct! 🐢
I just found you and it’s very refreshing to watch and listen to somebody who is not in a hurry and is being precise in her work. Ontario🇨🇦
Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words!

I didn't realize that! Thank you for letting me know 💜
I loved this format! I also am inspired by the crumb strips. I think it would be fun to make strips using leftover fabrics from each quilt top I make.
So happy to hear that! And love that idea!
So great to see you in action! Can’t wait to try.
So unbelievably excited for you as you make your first quilt!! I have to caution you: it’s addicting! 😜
I like that you show mistakes as well as your quilting, cutting.
I’m so happy you appreciate it! I like seeing the realities of making a quilt from other creators as well! It helps me learn ☺️

Oh I am so happy I inspired you! I hope you have enjoyed making it! It's still one of my favorites 😊
Love the video! One suggestion: A Darth Vader quilt! :) May the force be with you!
Oooohh I will add that to the list 😉 Thank you SO much for watching!

You have absolutely made my day! Thank you! I'm so happy to hear it still comes across after years away from the camera 😀
Your lighting, camera are fine imho. Famous quilt designer Pat Sloan has similar to what you have, so you're in good company.
I am honored to be named with Pat Sloan in the same sentence! Thank you so much for your feedback. More to come 💜
@EaddysCraftRoom Thanks, and I'm looking forward to more!

Great advice, thank you!!

I love the term “boo-boo bundle!” 😂 Will be adding that one to my quilting vocabulary.

Such a kind perspective! Thank you so much! Thankful for all of my online quilting friends ❤️
