I don't think it's that deep. From what is actually reported, he dropped out right before starting. It happens. And sometimes there is consequences. Depends on the contract. But sometimes contract doesn't mean anything if it's a legit reason to break the contract. I have a feeling this is the case. Otherwise it would maybe be bigger. Point is, until we have more information and potent facts it's not that big of a story. It happens alot.

I just got back from watching Romulus, it is the best Alien film since Aliens but go in with realistic expectations, it's not a perfect movie but it is good.
I wouldn't mind a shared undead monster universe. It kinda makes sense there's vampires, werewolves, mummies, lagoon creatures, voodoo zombies and mad scientists' creations (Frankenstein's monster & bride, Invisible Man, Hyde) running around in a world steeped in the supernatural. The problem was simply not having a good couple of standalones crafted that people can get behind instead of assuming they just needed to stuff big names into some big but half baked idea.
Just now realized this? Ha. Yeah, dudes in alot or apart of alot of stuff. Most dont realize he's actually more a writer and director than writer. And have wrote for many Emmy award winning shows and British things that are beloved. But yeah, is also a spectacular actor. And in alot of things I don't think people realize.

Honestly, after seeing the exact same footage, and being pissed at the amount of time I’d spent waiting for my film to start, I was already fed up with this film before it released. No interest at all
I disagree with the borderlands cast conversation, you would have brought the budget way down which means less of a flop, and instead of having people, where the majority or viewers and critics say the cast didn't even seem to want to be there and dialed it in, you may have had new synergy and eagerness for the roles......just because you have Oscar talent doesn't mean every movie has Oscar worthy performances. So I think a different cast that wanted to be there and put 110% in would have made the movie "better" to watch and enjoy.....maybe not make anymore money.....but to say it wouldn't is something you can't prove and your over defending this cast
I don't think anybody has addressed this but they got to convince the audience of Robert Downey Jr being a villain to versus being a hero iron Man versus Doctor Doom I think that's going to be a hard pill to swallow
In the real world, away from movie blogs and RUclips shows, I don't think I have ever heard anyone talk about "The Crow". The original, or the re-make.
After being a fan of Scrubs for years, I hope to GOD they don’t continue the Ted show. Bill Lawrence doesn’t know when to end a show and milks his shows to the point every character goes through the same character/story arch again and again. He completely ruined Scrubs and then ruined it again with its two different reboot/spinoff. Please learn from Seinfeld and learn to leave when you’re on top.
I think it basically comes down to this. A movie making a load of money is newsworthy. A movie being terrible is newsworthy. It's all 'news', even if there isn't really anything new to say. It's like how they trashed Black Adam for ages. Or how they talked about Barbie being such a success so much. The news cycles will continue to spin though.
As is the refrain here, all film is subjective. But man I do not agree with this take at all. To me, James Gunn is one of the best creatives in superhero movie history. All his recent movies have been bangers.
Opinions are cool. Absolutely. Films are subjective. But to say they all suck or are bad is absurd. They are all well made films that most agree are good at least. Not everyone. That's never the case really. Point is, judge things when you see them. Full stop. Don't make up your mind about anything until you see it. Judge on it's actual merits.
I sincerely disagree with you man guardians 2 I really like the suicide squad was awesome and guardians 3 according to some people was the best guardians but tbf art is subjective

My 6 year old kid going on 7 is now saying at the dinner table that he doesn’t give two squirts of urine for vegetables, and he calls our Pomeranian Dog Shit 23 pucker hole. lol! (Frustrated laughter) He likes watching you with me now that he is free all summer. Can’t wait for him to go back to school.
