  • Recipe:
    2 kg / 4.4lb / 4lb 6.5oz of grape vine leaves
    1 kg / 2.2lb / 2lb 3.2oz / 6 cups short grain white rice
    3 medium onions, finely diced, about
    2 cups parsley, finely chopped, 1 large bunch of parsley
    2 large tomatoes, skinned off and finely diced
    10 cloves of garlic (1 head), minced
    1 medium lemon juice
    3 tbsp. tomato paste
    3 tbsp. pepper paste
    1 cup olive oil
    1 tbsp. coffee
    1 tbsp. sugar
    1 tbsp. mint
    1/2 cup of water
    1 tbsp. pomegranate molasses
    salt
    1 cup / 100g / 3.53oz walnuts coarsely chopped
    for the broth:
    hot water, enough to submerge the grape leaves
    salt
    after 1 hour add the sauce:
    1 tbsp. tomato paste
    1 tbsp. pomegranate molasses
    1 tbsp. sugar
    1 whole lemon juice
    2 tbsp. olive oil
    1 cup of water
