Bett is employed as private security for Johnny Depp and was present for multiple incidents between Heard and Depp during their relationship. The photographs presented depict facial injuries from different incidents. Bett testified he personally saw these injuries on Depp while working for him.

I’m just wondering why Heard was not only not arrested, but she was able to continue filming movies. If it were reversed, he would have gone to jail. He’s the victim, and yet he’s the one who lost his movie roles, not her. I support him 100%.

Usually who ever leaves visible damage (such as blood , bruises or worse are carted off to jail. Sometimes it’ll be covered up (ignored) by an officer and a warning is given.
By all rights, if visible damage is done the person who did it should go to jail (unless it’s self defense).
I agree with your on what should have happened. But Johnny's childhood that had a domestic abuser for a mother and seeing his father take it for so long and then add Hollywood with paparazzi labeling him something horrible because he's a "man". He hid it. He never wanted any of this. In the tapes he asked her to please just quietly get divorced or it would hurt them both. I listened to the tapes several times as more and more actual facts came out. He was afraid of the fall out. I adore Johnny Depp. I hope the jury finds in his favor and he is cleared of her lies and the damage she caused him.

The “justice system” is pathetic. The amount of evidence against her and the trial is still going on. There’s a voice recording of her admitting that she hit Johnny, and another of her saying she can’t promise she won’t get physically violent with him again in the future…I hope Johnny gets his justice and closure soon so he doesn’t have to keep reliving this awful marriage.

You have to commit to due process. Each side has to have the opportunity to present all their evidence and question and cross-examine witnesses, even if it seems obvious from Day 1 who is guilty and who isn't. There are so many exhibits in evidence and so many people to question that it inevitably takes a long time, it has nothing to do with them deliberately dragging the trial out.
Both sides havent ended their presentation of evidence and "offer" of evidence. Once both parties are done theyll submit the case for decision.
The fact that there are so many proofs against her, yet the law allowed her to continue benefitting from her career is so ugly. It's sad how we have normalized this type of injustices.
ALL the funds she earned after her feigned victimhood need to be seized & confiscated & given to REAL victims of DV.

My ex wife was physically and verbally abusive towards me and nobody ever believed me through the years until I set up a camera in my home and it caught everything she did to me and she tried to deny it and claim I was the abuser. A week later she apologized to my family and her family and we divorced.

Especially as a man. There was an Arizona Cardinals NFL player who's wife/girlfriend got drunk, called the cops and said he was hitting her. Cops arrived, he had it all recorded she was trying to hit him and throwing things at him while he was 100% sober while she's freaking out in the house.... cops arrested and charged her.
Point being, thankfully he had that video, because they probably would've arrested him just based on how Western Society treats domestic violence these days (ALWAYS the man's fault). The one positive thing about this case is we're finally seeing firsthand that women can be just as every bit abusive as a man. And it shouldn't be considered 'funny' or 'oh women can't hurt men' or ignored.

My ex actually did this to me, except we didn't have any children.
It was after I broke up with her, she called the police saying I was threatening her via text and making suicidal statements and that I had weapons. None of it was true.
The cops came to my apartment, I opened the door and then they slammed it open with force, knocked me to the ground, turned my living room upside down looking for "weapons"
They were very aggressive at first, demanded my phone and asked me if I knew about anything that was happening.
I told them about my psycho ex. They asked me to unlock my phone, and then they saw the actual text conversations of me and her.
It was me telling her to leave me alone and to stay out of my life. [she had called my work trying to get me fired, saying i stole a company car and tools and stuff. was very 'fun' because i was a new hire at that place].
But yeah, as soon as they saw the text messages, their dementor changed completely.
I know the look of shame, and I can tell that these 2 officers realized that they got played by a young lady with crocodile tears.
I'm really upset though because they didn't apologize. They uncuffed me and just walked out like nothing happened. didn't try to un-topple my furniture or anything. must have been really embarrassing for them
um yeah but multiply this number by 100 and you will get the occasions where women are indeed beaten by their partners. don't act like the number of women who lie about that outbalance the very real issue of domestic violence.

I myself have experience being injured by a woman. Felt like I couldn't do anything to defend myself so I just took pictures of the injuries for the record. We're men so it's expected for us to stay quiet when the woman is the abuser since the law is much harsher on men for the same crimes.

I used to get into altercations with my little sister, when she was 14-15. She would start an argument and try to get physical, and being a man, bigger and her brother, I would usually try to take the argument to the kitchen, where I would occasionally grab food to mush in her face lol. I knew she would get violent if it came to it, so my only option was to humilaite her into calming down, and it always worked. She was always in fights with other girls at school, and she simply didn't understand that even though I'm not a particularly big or tough guy, I could wreck her if I was inclined to do so.
Note that despite this, she turned out to be a remarkably accomplished woman who I am extremely proud of, and these traits didn't carry over into adulthood thankfully. If anything, she could have snagged a rich guy if she felt like it (she's on first name terms with actual billionaires). She started out just like Amber Heard, but sorted herself out.

Johnny, although he would never want to, should be the face for Domestic Violence against Men....Justice for Johnny all the way, may his named be cleared...it my mind it was never a doubt of his innocence.
One of the reasons why I was so glad to hear that he would do anything to clear his name was exactly because of this!
It’s a shame that he has to go through something like this but hopefully when all it’s said and done, he will clear up his name and through his actions, help shed some light in what some men go through not just in their daily life but also at court when false allegations are entered against them and it’s a instant uphill battle for them in order to prove innocence. American court systems give so much power to women when alleged DV cases are entered and very little resources for men fighting to clear their name after such allegations.
There’s a lot worse cases than this.. they are celebrities however so that brings a whole different dynamic into it. I don’t think he should be the face, but he could be a great advocate.

Awful, just awful! I had a male friend who was battered by his wife - she hit him over the head with a chair, & now he's registered as blind! He will never get his sight back, & he stayed for his children. He's a lovely guy, & he was broken by it all. I hope Johnny can recover from this, but it'll be hard for him to trust again. Heartbreaking! 💔

I am not saying he is a weak person but what he has done by forgiving her and staying for the children is not the best thing he could have done even though for his children (he does not have to take responsibility of her bad and evil actions)

I used to see Johnny every day when I worked next to The Viper Room in the 90s. He was the sweetest guy ever and I never believed he was at fault. Women with NPD target guys like him -- they are pure evil and know their victims well.

I lost a great friend to domestic violence. When he spoke up to protect his children by a divorce, as soon as she realized she was going to lose custody, she broke into his home a shot him with a double barrel shotgun to his face while he was sleeping the morning before the court case.
His young son found his dad that morning.
I'm so disgusted when I hear about these things. A woman can be if not even more abusive case they know no one will believe that a man could be beaten

The family courts need to have a much more balanced approach instead of soaking the man even when he has split or primary custody. But goes to show some nutjobs will stop at nothing to get their way

My heart absolutely breaks for Johnny. Never ever did I think, for even a second, that someone as gentle and kind as Johnny was guilty in any shape or form. And I was even more convinced by the all the evidence and the statements of the several people, who've known him far far longer than Amber. I'm absolutely infuriated how much damage this nightmare of a woman has caused, not only to him but to EVERY SINGLE victim of DV. I really wish, Johnny wins this trial and is able to move on, once and for all.

My ex was constantly getting physically violent with me. I did absolutely nothing back and felt so helpless. My part was I kept going back to her because she CONVINCED me I deserved it. If this sounds like you LEAVE WHILE YOU CAN !!! It doesn’t get better!!! They will say they are sorry and beg for forgiveness, then do it worse the next time!!! The girl I dated afterwards showed me kindness and love and the ex is STILL trying to haunt me and apologize.
This breaks my heart to see I grew up watching all his movies and yeah i don't know him but no one should have to go through this much pain and suffering I really hope the judge charges her with something and she gets blacklisted.

I encourage all people to remember, that when Johnny goes away from this court room for the final time, just know that he was forced to resign from acting as one of the biggest characters in the Harry Potter universe, and wasn't given the part as Jack Sparrow in the latest film because of all this with Amber Heard.
In the meantime, just remember that Amber Heard was able to continue without any break, timeouts or consequences her work on Aquaman 2, even after the evidence of her showing to be the abusive one came to light. This is where you have the me-too movement in 2022: As soon as any kind of allegation hits the surface from a women to a man, the man is immediately guilty, without any need of investigation.
This is why Amber Heard has been able for the last few years to continue her work though Warner Brothers.
But just remember: Warner Brothers is behind both Fantastic Beasts and Aquaman. They wouldn't let Johnny Depp continue, and they wouldn't let Ezra Miller continue without a stop in his movie projects - Ezra Miller because of some inappropriate behavior. All the while why Amber Heard could continue her projects without any consequences, even after the evidence were revealed that she was the abusive one in the relationship with Johnny Depp. That's where you know where the standards are.

It’s so far beyond nonsensical that AH and JD weren’t given the same treatment by Warner Brothers that it almost leaves me lost for words. I’m glad JD is fighting this. The high profile nature of the case means it could potentially end up being a catalyst for change.
But we shouldn’t be too quick to put the blame on the me-too movement - or on any movement. Equality is vital but it HAS to be accompanied by common sense. If we consider what happened with Gabby Petito for example - that was a situation where the officers believed the woman to be the main aggressor. Regardless of whether she had been or not, she was clearly the more vulnerable party; marked, shaking, crying. I hope we soon arrive at a place where it’s understood that anyone can be the abuser, but also that vulnerable parties need to be protected immediately, regardless of suspicions or doubt.
No matter what will be the judgement of court, we’re always support you dear Johnny
