Beautiful and amazing, Chloe. Thank you for sharing this! I'm struggling a bit with the first portion of the video where techniques are done in standing position. I can not tell angle and heel elevation of the base foot.

Thanks! Great video! I can do middle splits , BUT there is a bit of an angle, my legs aren't completely straight for some reason. I'm sure this video will help.

😍Is toe up stretch is different from heel n toe touched flat on ground, how to achieve it?
Yes just different ways of doing box split. Some people find toe up harder and others find toes down the more difficult. It’s all to do with hip mobility and range of movement within the joint. Try rolling your hips whilst in split this is what I did to gain all variations

Thank you very much Chloe, I'd like to be more flexible, I wasn't when I practised martial arts. We dedicated very few time for stretching and we did it just at the beginning (and I don't think it's a very good idea). Now that I'm training by myself, I'm focusing on my stretching routine. It gets hard when you sit down, open your legs and try to go forward. It hurts, but I think that the only way to reach the split is keeping on this way without forcing too much my muscles. I hope to reach the middle split, so I will keep training by following your videos of Flexy Friday! Thank you very much again! :)
My goal was to achieve middle split at the end of 2019 by following Tom Merrick's PNF routine, but unfortunately I got a torn hamstring in July... Now the injury is healed and I started stretching again. I will mix in your routine into my workout to get more variety in my split workout :) Hopefully one day I can make a video to motivate and show people achieving middle split over 30 is possible, but right now I just show up with a painful face by trying hard ^^''

Glad you mentioned give your body time to recover. See many videos saying stretch every day that may be okay for people that have already achieved a great amount of flexibility, but guessing most that watch this video aren't there yet like myself and still need a good amount of recovery time between sessions. Great videos and you have a very personable style of delivering the technique. Awesome videos.

Awesome Chloe I can already do the middle splits can you do a video of overstrecthing thats what I am working on to be able to do a full 180 degree spilt and the Front splits sometimes I can get them some times I cant its like I go back and forward with the Front splits can you do a video of doing them. Iwant to be able to do them front split everytime like I can do the middle splits.

Mam have only one video in your channel regarding box split. You have more than one video so a newcomer get confused regarding which video to be watched first.
+Aman Conceptual I understand that, but there are different videos for a reason. It’s not ideal to get stagnant on one routine, when trying to achieve split. It’s good to switch up the stretches and routines. People ask for different routines. But apologies that you find it confusing.

chole i was Just watching your video and I knoticed that you can do the pancake stretch I can do that as well but I can only put my face to the Floor but i cant put my stomach to the Floor
can you tell me what am doing wrong or right
When you put your face to the floor, Which direction are your toes pointing? Are your feet up, toes pointing to the ceiling? Or are your feet flat on the floor (if feet are flexed, toes would be pointing straight ahead)?

Ok when I Do that pancake Stretch my Toes are pointing the the Ceiling and my Feet is Flexed
Ok so to get your tummy flat on the floor, you need to tilt your pelvis forward. legs rotate so your feet are flat on the floor and toes pointed forwards. (Hope that makes sense?)

Hi Chloe, I am only able to stretch to a maximum of 130 degrees in my centre splits and no matter how hard I try I can't go any further, do you have any suggestions or should I keep going at it longer, also should I stretch while I am sore because I like to stretch every day, Please help me, thanks Chloe,
Hi Michele, how long have you been stretching everyday for? and what has your progression rate been? has it improved a lot since you first started?
@@ChloeBruceAcademy I try and stretch around an hour a day, I start around the 90 degree mark and get to 130 degrees and that's it, been like this for years, No improvement

I’ve been thinking of talking to our students maybe have a small class on anti bullying and self defense is there something that I should include like something I definitely need to talk about or say or something I should not say or talk about
This is definitely a great subject to talk about! And to make people more aware of. Just include all the different types of bullying, even online, through the phone, social media etc as well as face to face bullying. Teach them to not be afraid to speak about it. Talk to someone, don’t hold it all in. There’s always someone that can help the situation and get them out of the dark place they are feeling.

How often do you suggest you do this? Daily? Weekly? I really wanna improve my middle splits
All depends on your current stretching schedule. If your a beginner I wouldn’t recommend anymore than twice a week to begin with. Your muscles need time to repair in between. However if you are used to regular stretching try it every other day and see how you get on

That was an excellent demonstration Sabumnim. Sabumnim, people also want to know how to be able to kick with more power. How do you kick harder?
I can do a video on this, but in short you need to build the strength alongside the flexibility. Then also use the tork and wind up from your hips.
Chloe Bruce thank you Sabumnim. I’ve been doing a two hour leg exercises in the gym twice a week. A full two hours twice a week. Will that help?
